Most probably a longshot but, is there anyway that I can download the PS5 version of my dlc for TSW6 without downloading the PS4 version of the DLC content.

Only way I can see to do it at the moment is to hit download and go straight to downloads to cancel the PS4 content.

Surely there must be an easier way.

I think downloading dlc via the Ps app solves this issue

Unfortunately it doesn't, I've already tried.

On the download screen/menu select the ps4 version and delete it while it is downloading.

This is the easiest option. The PlayStation App is fairly unreliable, so we would recommend doing this from your console.

It's not the easiest option, it would seem it's the only option. Which is fine if you've got a handful of dlc but, when you've been buying dlc ever since TSW came to PlayStation, it's an absolute pain in the posterior having to do it so many times.

Highlight TSW6 on the main menu screen, press the options button, select manage game content, it will bring up a list of everything you own, download what you need

I'll give it another go later but, when I tried it yesterday evening, all it showed was what I had downloaded. Not what I owned.

UPDATE: I'm doing it the way DTG-Chris said.
94 bits of DLC with an estimated completion time of 8 hours. Thank funk for broadband.

Hmmm…. I am getting a CE-106485-4 ‘something went wrong’ message when I try and add DLC

My software is up to date so not sure what’s happening here

I tried to download only the PS5 DLCs, but while the console was in sleep mode at night, it downloaded the PS4 content as well. This is so bad that this game doubles the already scarce storage space on the PS5. By the way, before downloading the DLCs, TSW6 loaded in 10-20 seconds, now I have to wait minutes for the main screen.

As an aside to the fresh thread I started, having downloaded my owned content it’s not even showing up in the game, all I’ve got is the Training Centre.

The increase in load time is relative to how much dlc you have. Someone else can explain better but, it's loading the DLC. It's been a thing with every TSW.
