But, after installing the pre-order TSW 5 Deluxe Edition (50.1 gb) on my Xbox Series X, I see my Xbox refers to this as the Free Starter Pack !! Is this how it should be? I would expect the game icon to refer to the fact it is the Deluxe version, or at the very least not Free.

You might have to install the routes separately when it launches

The routes and locos were all installed… I’m just wondering why my Xbox refers to Free Starter Pack rather than Deluxe Edition.

Hi, have attached 3 screenshot of my XBox Series X, showing my installation referring to Free Starter Pack, not as expected Deluxe Edition.

Maybe Xbox just "builds" on top of the starter pack. So the main game is referred to as the Free Starter Pack, and you've bought the Deluxe Edition which must bundle all the DLCs together (as you can see with your 390 DLC ticked).

Main concern is that I get the 5 days early access.

This is correct the main game on Xbox is called the free starter pack and should work fine on release as eveything looks installed correctly

Yes this should be fine as it knows you bought the deluxe editon and should unlock the game at the required time

Hi snowdog#5187 I can confirm that this is normal for any TSW 5 pre-order. The base game without any add-ons is called the "Free Starter Pack". When it comes to Early Access and you launch the game, it will detect your add-on entitlements, and you will just see "Train Sim World 5" on the loading screen.
