PS5 [resolved] Issue With Changing Cabs On The Br Class 350/1

When I change cabs on the BR class 350/1 on the West coast main line, the train cannot move, especially during the Football Frenzy scenario. Normally it tells me to turn the power to MAX BRAKE, turn the reverser to the off position, and turn the master key off. I turned off all safety systems, but when I try to move after moving to the other cab, the brakes don't release, and my BC stays at 3.0. I tried resetting the physics of the simulation, turning off the battery and turning it on again, applying the emergency brake and releasing it but it still won't move. Is there anything I have to do, or is it an issue?

 

yeah this has been an on going issue, and it seems to be the 350/1 that has gotten a bit borked, several posts on this issue already.

Submitted a bug report already but couldn’t hurt to have more if you don’t mind putting one in too.

I noticed that the point where it breaks is when you interact with the reverser on one end. After that the train won’t move on the other end. And after interacting with that reverser the train won’t move in the original direction either…

 

I got round this by not getting out of the cab and sticking it in reverse to make the coupling. The tracks are already set so you just use the external camera to do it. The game will still ask you to change cabs but instead just make the connection then change cabs (but leave the key in) The game will cycle through objectives until you open up the aisle and then return to the first cab for the next bit. The reverser will move to forward and you can carry on
