[resolved] No Import Profile Option On Steam.

I logged into my Dovetail live profile as the guide suggested. However I never got the option to import a profile (TSW2 is still installed and on the same drive.)

When I go to the profile screen now I also don't see an option to import a profile.

I can confirm this. It looks like you also can copy it straight from the TSW2 game save disk location to the TSW3 game save location.

I upgraded my system few days, due to which everything was formated, tsw2 also. Since then i never installed, as tsw3 was on the way, thinking i will straightaway install tsw3 and play. So i guess i don't have the details you need. I am sorry.

 

Well, in that case there is nothing to import- TSW3 looks for a TSW2 profile, but can't find one because it's not there.

 

yes i guess i will uninstall tsw3, then install all the tsw2 and then again tsw3. long process.

 

I'm on Epic Store version of TSW3 and i can transfer my save from TSW2 flawlessly.

 

When you reformatted your drive, did you save a copy of your TSW2 save folder? If not, then your old profile is gone forever.

 

No i never saved my tsw2 save folder.
I just downloaded tsw2, now i am getting to import files, but the format destroyed all the progress.

 

I am able to import profile from tsw2 but the dlc's are not showing up in tsw3, i have in 26 dlc's and none of them are showing up, neither route nor loco's.
Please help.

 

The DLC won't appear until the 6th sep.

 

There is a youtuber named "train simulator driver" who showed the import tutorial where all his dlcs were showing up.

 

Paul is a member here; he's also a DTG Ambassador- meaning he gets stuff early.

 

Checked after the update this morning and it's all working now, good job on the quick fix.

Hi everyone,
Personally I had no problem installing it, it offered me to create a new character or import my dovetail profile, which I did and I ended up with my TSW2 profile with his name because I I read that some had had modifications so I hope it was due to the intervention of DTG because I had no manipulations to do (copy profile backup or other ...)
here is the capture of my profile under TSW3.
Hoping that you can all find your profiles as well as your scores, I wish you a good journey with TSW3

Pour les DLC ils ne peuvent pas être téléchargés avant le 06/09/2022 à la sortie officielle du jeu selon les dires de DTG et ce, sur toutes les plateformes!!!
