[resolved] Playing Tsw 5 And Tsw 6 Parallel?

Good Morgen,

as I understood, TSW 5 stays in game pass and TSW 6 won't come to Game Pass.

1. Question: If I play TSW 5 via Xbox cloud gaming when I am not at home and TSW 6 at home one my Xbox Series X, does my progress on both games somehow synchronize?

2. Question: For doing Question 1, do I need TSW 5 beeing installed on my Xbox? Cause it eats nearly 300 GB of storage.

TSW5 does not need to be installed on your XBOX for you to play it via XBOX Cloud Gaming. You do obviously need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, though.

One caveat: if you want to play TSW5 (or any XBOX game) via Remote Play instead of XBOX cloud gaming while you're away from your console (I use Remote Play instead of XBOX Cloud Gaming when I'm away from home as for some reason I find the stream is faster and more stable) the game does need to be installed. The advantage of Remote Play is that you can play any game that's installed on your XBOX (including on the internal SDD, external SDD, external hard drives), even a disc-based game that you've left in your disc drive; the game doesn't have to be on the Cloud Gaming list, the Play Anywhere list etc.

Regarding game progress, I assume that when TSW6 arrives and I play it for the first time my progress will carry over from TSW5 one time only. After that I assume that my progress on TSW5 and TSW6 will NOT syncronise, i.e. if I then go back and play TSW5 the progress there will not carry over to TSW6, and vice versa. I don't know this for sure, however.
