I pre-ordered the standard editions of TSW 5 for the PS5 and PC. Is it true that I don’t get to play them early? I thought if you pre-ordered early access was a bonus for doing that. I’m not cancelling just wondering.
Early/Advanced Access is only for preorders for Deluxe and Special editions. May I ask though, why did you preorder on both PlayStation and PC? That's a real waste of money, isn't it?
I play TSW on my PS5 for the big screen and I also play it on my Steam Deck. It works great on the Deck BTW.
You can always refund the Standard edition on PC, wait 24 hours for the funds to reappear in your Steam Wallet then reorder Deluxe. Can’t comment on PS5 situation as regards cancelling or amending pre orders. Alternatively you could stick with Standard and wait for the 390 and Flixtrain to turn up In a sale which might save a few £££ over the £20 differential between Standard and Deluxe. But that might not be until next year, Christmas at the outside.
You can refund on both the Microsoft and PSN store as long as you don’t install or play the game. You must also claim your refund within 14 days.
I don’t want a refund I was just wondering why pre-order when you really get nothing for it. On the standard edition that is.
With Deluxe/Special Editions, yes. Everyone should be able to download Steam Add-ons for TSW5 in advance, but only Deluxe/Special will be able to play them during Early Access.
