Steam [resolved] Question About Dlc

Hi there!
Is it possible to disable additional content (trains, roads) that are not needed at the moment?
For example:
Let's say I have completed all the scenarios on the Southeastern Highspeed line, can I disable this DLC on Steam to save storage space? And will my local progress on that section be lost in that case? Same with the trains on this route, will my local progress on Class 395/375/465 be lost?
As well as saving storage space, I'm worried if my save will be broken?

 

Uninstall it through the manage dlc tab (on the library page, select tsw4, scroll down and look to the right to find the dlc tab. Click on it and uncheck the dlcs you don't want. You won't lose any progress and when you reinstall, it will come back. I've done it countless times and you won't lose progress unless you delete your save file by accident or create a new profile
