PS5 [resolved] Suspension Not Working On Ps5 (br185,öbb Talent)

Also posted in Suspension feedback thread, but for bigger chance of any other PS5 players experiencing this, I’m creating this thread in Troubleshoting.

Fixed : needed to turn on Camera Motion Sway in HUD & GAMEPLAY game settings

TLDR: PS5 TSW4 - After recent update the cab view bouncing dont work at all when passing junctions, but in external camera I can see the suspension moves but the chassis of loco wont.


DB BR 185.2 on Salzburg-Rossenheim BR 185 no in-cab bouncing? (PS5) I haven’t experienced absolutely any in-cab camera bouncing while going over junctions in different speeds (10,20,40 km/h, and I can say they are lot of junction crossings in International Rescue scenario).

Any other PS5 players experienced same issue? Do the suspension update work for you on BR218, ÖBB Talent or BR 185? (tried one service too and same - absolutely no bouncing)?

edit: just watched DTG video showcasing BR 185 suspension update, and I can definetly say that mine is no bouncing at all against that video. I’m starting to think my PS5 version on TSW4 is broken - even no ÖBB Talent bouncing and also on DB BR 218 also I dont have any bouncing , even guys on this forum said the 218 has had suspension working till release. Or is there any swithc in options to make it working that I’m missing? Note: I checked multiple times that my TSW4 is up-to date and when updating yesterday everything seemed normal like with another updates.


edit 2: BR218 suspension and in cab bouncing works on my custom scenario on Niedertalbahn, I can nicely see how suspension works and bounces whole locomotive, also in cab I can “feel it” also not even when passing junctions, but also when rails connecting to another rail on straight track. But on other routes like Dresden-Riesa, or Hamburg-Lubeck, on external camera I can see suspension moving - but locomotive caroserie chasis wont, even not in cab camera. Same with OBB4024 Talent 2, external view suspension moves, in cab no movement. Any ideas? :/

 

And what about the traction after changing the cab on the 185? It doesn't work even though I turned on camera movement. So far I have only tested it on the Salzburg Rosenheim route.
