Just after the recent game update I am missing half of my routes and trains, I am unsure if this is an individual problem or something with the game update went wrong on Xbox Series X but I am a little bit confused right now as I have the DLCs downloaded all in the same hard drive I use, I don't understand why the game is not reading downloaded content.

Found something interesting while re-installing the Xbox could not read the names of the DLCs or load up the thumbnails used for the downloads so I think there might be a bug or a small error relating to game files on xbox

Ok so what I have found is when the game updated, the Xbox series x could not read some of the DLC files which could not properly be read by the game, upon re-installing I had to cancel some of the downloads and restart them again due to further problems with the Xbox series x unable to read the DLC content, upon a second reinstall attempt the Xbox then read the game files and reinstalled them to Train Sim World 4, so it looks like this could be a bug with the Xbox and very possibly game files not being properly updated prior to the game being updated.

The good thing is for now everything is working again after having to reinstall DLC 3 to 4 times to try and get TSW 4 to read the game files.

    Hi djgaming#7176 ,

Glad to hear that you resolved the problem. Out of curiosity, you mentioned that you downloaded all the content to the same hard drive? Is this a third-party external hard drive, and if so, what make and model?

Series X optimised games require a certified storage drive, and won't work on any external USB HDDs. Therefore, it is generally a good idea to install the game and add-ons to the internal storage drive.

The Hard Drive I am using is the Xbox 2TB Seagate SSD Expansion Card for the Xbox Series X|S with my Xbox Series X

    Thanks djgaming#7176 ,

That should be fine for Series X games and add-ons. However, the corrupted downloads are odd. If they persist, you might want to get in contact with Xbox Support.

I'll mark this thread as resolved for now.
