Steam [resolved] Tsw 5 Crashing On Loading Screen

I came back to TSW 5 after a few weeks of dealing with life stuff & it crashes soon as I start the game. Disable all mods in mod manager & it runs fine, last time I played it loaded fine with all my mods enabled & the only thing different is the game has been updated.

Is there an easy way of finding which mod is causing the problem, why mess about with things DTG as you've made the game unplayable yet again!

 

Steps.

#1 Disable all mods.

#2 Try to run the game.

#3 Still crashing, please report back and then some one can help figure out what to do next. Otherwise, follow next steps

#4 Enable any of the one mod(s) that you have.

b) Crashes - that is the mod that is causing the issue.

c) No crash - Enable the next mod.

d) Repeat over and over until you find which mod it is.

e) Note: It may or may not be a single mod. You may need to disable the first mod that caused a crash and go to other one to test.

 

You need to check if any of the mods you have installed have been updated. The Cab Cam Mod was just updated. 27-06-2025 doing as trpted stated, also remember DTG does not officially support mods, if a mod gets broken, it's up to the mod author to update it.

 

Could I ask if this crashing on load up is for a route. The reason I ask is right now the EMK route is basically unplayable.
That’s using my own livery and DTG yet still means any route I do try crashes on load in.

I’ve noticed these issues after their last update.
Or is the Intermodal pack or military pack vol 4 causing me these issues because those have been downloaded lately.
The game seems worse now tho

It was a mod that was upsetting it, all working fine now.
