Steam [resolved] Tsw5 | Class 350 | Wembley Central - Euston (football Frenzy Scenario)

Hi Just tryed to do the Class 350 Football Frenzy scenario only to find once i change ends of the train jump in the other cab put in the key put the train in forward and power to P2 nothing no power at all ive tryed resetting it as im stuck that does nothing now ive watched other people do the same scenario on Youtube im not doing any thing different ive even unloaded the DLC in steam and reloaded also verified my files for the game and still nothing am i the only one having this problem

 

Just ran into the same issue. After changing ends, it's not possible to get the train moving again.

I too have the same problem, did exactly as you did and ran into the same problem, tried it 5 times, in the end, I gave up with it and I also have the same problem again with the brakes not coming off with the next scenario, Called Back in Service.
Seems to be aproblem with the Class 350's, not sure why.

Don't bother doing any scenario's that involve the class 350 with changing ends, as once you changed neds, the brakes will not come off.

 

It's getting more and more ridiculous! How many weeks or months will it take this time? I'm asking for a friend..

 

The brakes come off just cant get any power to the train even did it as it says in there manual for the 350

 

Well for me, the brakes will just not release, I have tried 3 different scenario's now, all the same.
Where's the Manual then, I couldn't find it?

Thanks for the video, took a look at it, but, what I was doing was correct and I still cannot get the brakes off, therefore, unable to gain any power to move, it isn't just me, there are a few of us with this problem.
I put a Support ticket into DTG for this, will wait and see what now develops.

Oh right. I tried this scenario too and got the same issue - I thought I must've done something wrong so I just left it to come back to it later.

 

I have the same problem. The brakes won't release. I notice on the warning light panel on the left there is a light for "Safety System Trip".

I just got back into my game on the PC, and regardless of what I try, once stopped at the first waypoint marker, the train is put into traction lock. It's as if the DRA is set or the system is in a PNC lockout/penalty brake. The odd thing is I completed it on my XB-X, the scenario is no different, and I used all safety systems. on both systems.

 

Xbox Series X/S - same problem. Also put a ticket in.
Went to do a bit of testing and it seems the point of it stopping working is when you interact with the reverser in the other end. After that the train won’t move even in the original cab…
To test, spawn a 350 in free roam, get in one end, set it up and move a short distance to check it’s operational. Now shut it down, go to the other end, turn master key on and set reverser to forward but don’t do anything else. Set reverser to off as if you’ve changed your mind, take master key and return to the original cab. Observe you can no longer move the train no matter what.

 

I also encountered that problem, but not ony on the football frenzy scenario, but on the others as well that feature the 350 and require changing cabs. Won't name them all since I'm using the German version and I don't think they'll translate well.

 

Yes, I noticed this too, just today with 5Y65/1Y65. I can't get the brakes to release once I switch ends.

 

I just completed, I did not need to change ends, you waited for the next service to start?

 

Correct. I switched ends to do 1Y65 and couldn't get the brakes to release.

 

I was not sure that 1Y65 was the next service, cause it didn't show. I will give it another go when I can.

 

I notice that when this issue happens, the Safety Device Trip light is on. Despite the fact that all safety and signalling systems are isolated!

 

Is there a way to turn this light off and release the brakes using the God Mode mod? I can't find any attributes that relate to brakes or safety systems.

 

When this happened to me, that light didn't come on, which is odd, as I posted in #15 above. This is a Patch that DTG needs to push out as they did the last time this was an issue, but this time it's even worse, it seems. When I get time on the PC, I will putz around and see what else I can find.
I don't believe the god mode mod can do this, you would be best asking the author, because this is a coding issue, and I'm not versed in the coding. The god mode mod can change the time of day, weather, fog, spawn, and teleport, and many other actions, but changing an issue like this, I do not think so.

 

What's not to like with the AP TSC Class 350. Runs real smooth! A nice 75 minute run from Carlisle to Preston.

 

The problem with the Brakes not coming off in the Class 350,doesn't seem to have been fixed in the latest Update June 23rd 2025, WHY?? I have no idea.
