Steam [resolved] Update 10 April 2025 Problem - "content File Locked".

    I can't install the April 10, 2025 update. It downloads but when updating it gives me the error "content file locked".
    I've already disabled the antivirus, restarted the PC and tried again but it only reaches 10% of instaltion, doesn't install, which prevents me from playing.
    I don't know what I know what "content file" refers to.
    I would ask for help, because I can't play.
    Anyone with this problem ? Any suggestions ?

    Hello there,

    Can you try running Steam as an administrator? Also make sure that no instance of TSW is running in the background, to do so open your taskmanager and check if you have any instance still running, and if so, quit the application.

    With help from, Dovetail, but I have to only instal update and work :
    1- Change security settings on DLC Folder ( my change setting . The other two fail before only after this work )
    2 -Clear the Steam download cache.
    3 - Verify Integrity of Game Files.

    Download and Update ok
    Game on Again
