Steam [resolved] Updates Stuck Again

I decided to reinstall tsw again last night.
The game downloaded and installed and before I could play it required an update.
Now the drive the game is installed to is new. 1tb of free space, the game required 300gb, the update was around a 4gb download and requires 255gb of free space for some reason?
So I have just under 600gb of free space, yet the update keeps failing due to insufficient space available?

 

Ill upload a screenshot later. I have been on the steam forum. Have cleared the cache and something else following a recommendation but was still doing it.

I thought maybe steam was using a different drive to unpack the update, but have made 300gb available on all the other drives too.

I sorted it. Had to manually delete the tsw folders in steam apps and documents/my games and reinstall tsw again.
