    Train Sim Society "The Adventure Begins"


    Few questions this brought up.


    The reusing of assets is obvious, especially from Peak Forest given the fun retro time period. I really enjoy that. "Modern" Sodor would be kinda off putting. Will there be any cross-pollination back into TSW I wonder?


    Are the keybinds customizable? The driving for example seems to be much like TSW just...swapping the throttle and the reverser for some reason?

    Other than that, seems to drive like a standard modern locomotive/MU.


    Speaking of that.... Nice thunk on the cab cars when the doors close on Annie and Claribel. The first proper "slam door" units? =-)


    I didn't see the signals explained in the "learn to drive" part. Is there a manual to it?


    The map itself with all the animations, vegetation and even water effects to rust on the iron bridge rail is amazing from this preview.
    The sounds are very nice, from the track sounds to the coach doors slamming.

    Is there a "scenario/map editor"? Or just the Explore/Free Roam?

    It looks very good!

    There’s a main menu map which allows you to zoom in and spawn anywhere you like, although there doesn’t seem to be any railway activity in this mode. In Timetable mode there is though!
