Review Of Actor Which Narrates Tutorial For Dash8 Dlc

I think it's pretty disrespectful not to have an authentic American actor for the dash 8's tutorial. It is American in every sense.

 

They might not have been able to get one, Matt does the narration for Marseille - Avignon which is a French route. I don't think it's as important as you think it is. You only hear it in a 10 minute tutorial

I think you are right. In future they should only build trains that match the narrator’s accent.

 

I think it was Matt said in a stream about doing that. For example: The narrator in English for the DB BR 363 had a German accent, but there was a lot of complaints about it so they are now doing English narrator for English, German narrator for German etc.

 

It's safer to have one consistent voice actor, rather than various voice actors trying different accents depending on the country the route is set in. It may offend someone, why take the risk?

 

Yeah. As disrespectful as Matt doing the french route. How could he? He is not even french. Doesn't even try to have a french accent. We should all boycott DTG for that!1!!! *sarcasm off*

 

Sorry I stand by how I feel, that guy narrating the tutorial makes me feel awful. I wish for a proper American voice actor for the dash8. I loved the voice actor for the Intercity train and the class 166 on the UK route. The lady had a fantastic English voice
