To complete the corridors between Bratislava and Vienna (REX/S7 technically doesnt count), lets look at REX6 and associated services Starts off in Bratislava-Petržalka, and depending on service it either goes only to Wien Hbf or to Eisenstadt/Deutschkreutz or even Murzzuschlag... for the purposes of a route, lets suggest the portion from Bratislava to Wien Hbf, maybe even to Meidling... yes, the first section is technically Slovakia, but the tracks used for these services are 15kV and dont have any signals there as far as I know, so basically OBB tracks Already starts speeding up after passing level crossings in Bratislava, to around 100-120, before stopping at Kittsee... where it gets interesting is around Neudorf-Parndorf, where it picks up speed, sometimes even up to 160 kph (usually in direction Parndorf - Neudorf)... Parndorf itself is a hub also with freight, and these days sees a lot of action with upgrades along the line, construction sites and of course future Rail Link preparations at Parndorf-Ort the line is joined by tracks leading to Hungary and such ... then we got Bruck an der Leitha, Gotzendorf, Trautmannsdorf, which is where future Rail Link is to happen (there are tracks from Gotzendorf to Vienna International Airport, but as far as I know only used for freight, with some sections being in not very good condition), which will link this corridor with S/REX7 and most of all the VIE Airport station Gramatneusiedl is being turned into a major hub, with not only passenger station and tracks, ready for all kinds of services, but also a rail yard and loco maintenance facility... the construction is super interesting from there it is kinda race to Vienna, stopping only at Wien Grillgasse and then Hbf this corridor is not only used by REX6, but also S60 (from Bruck and der Leitha), which is a regional service that goes from Bruck an der Leitha to Wien Hbf and Meidling, where it makes a turn for Pottendorfer Linie and terminates at Wiener Neustadt Hbf... some REX6 terminate at Hbf, some go to Eisenstadt/Deutschkreuz and some even as far as Murzzuschlag Usually they stop at Hbf, take a longer pause before continuing, and at Wulkaprodersdorf the double traction Desiro ML (Gysev and OBB usually coupled together) splits, with one half to Eisenstadt and the other to Deutschkreuz (crosses even Hungary and stops at Sopron on the way) Those that terminate at Hbf are usually consists with 1144 Herbert + CityShuttle + cab car or sometimes it is Taurus/Herbert with CityShuttle or Wiesel but yeah this is the core train on this route, along with 4024 CityJets (those serve stuff from Bruck usually, like S60) Petrzalka-Wien Hbf section is also used by RJX from Bratislava main station to Zurich Overall, a nice, speedy route with plenty of varied traffic... I believe RSSLO have already done a nice rendition in TSC, but this route would rule in TSW as well
