Ok so trying to do an FPS comparison of V72.3b and V73.7a and my go to litmus test has always been the fabled 390 Pendo run from Euston to New Street (Career scenario unedited - 9G35 - Class 390 - London Euston to Birmingham New St) . Now obviously I want to get things as close to identical as possible for a balanced test but this is where I've hit a head scratcher (stupid place to leave a head scratcher I know) So.. My Pendo is modded (shock horror), I have the AP sound pack, MJW enhancement pack and a few other packs from VP, ATS and so on (though I think some of them may just be for the S9BL one). Here's what the cab looks like in V72.3b, note specifically the speedo.. Yet in V73.7a it looks like this.. (ignore the lighting difference I haven't fettled the brightness and what not yet) Any Idea what I'm missing? I've reinstalled everything I can think of regarding enhancements (note the tail lights are set on these versions so that's the AP working (I think) as they were also set to off as standard prior to reinstalling packs.
that red bit should only appear when the tilt is isolated. So by default (unless you have the MJW pack that can randomly have a tilt fault) it shouldn't appear on the speedo.
I have the AP sound pack installed, and mine doesn't default to tail lights on, so not sure what is doing that for you. I've pretty much got all the mods you can get for it as well, and never seen that speedo thing.
It's the Major Wales pack that does the tail lights thing. Didn't notice, as there's a delay from turning the master key and that happening.. it's not immediate.
Will take a look at that, though why is it automatically set on the old build but not on the new build? I wonder if it's something to do with the LUA issues being reported across the board..
Ahh, I re-installed them both at the same time (by that I mean I didn't re-run the scenario until they'd both been re-installed)
Yep looks like this was the answer, still baffled why the tilt is always isolated in the V72.3b version and always enabled in the V73.7a (now V73.9a) though.
I have issues with this train when I have the AP and MJW enhancement pack installed as well. Ran the AP included scenario and couldn’t get the doors open. Run it without the MJW pack and doors open. Seems that does something to the train
The MJW pack is not compatible with the ATS one. Have you installed them both? I am using the MJW pack with no issues here.
