Hello everyone! After the release of Frankfurt - Fulda and the future release of Mannheim - Kaiserslautern, I was thinking of a route that can connect those 2 routes. Riedbahn Frankfurt - Mannheim is one of the busiest lines in Germany with around 650 trains per day, having ICE, RE and S Bahn trains all day. We already have most of the stock on TSW so it wouldn't be that hard to make. Route Information Length: 75km / 46 miles Top Speed: 200kph / 125mph Services: Various ICE trains, Frankfurt S7, Mannheim S8 and S9, RE70 Trains DB BR 403 ICE 3 for the ICE services (already in game) DB BR 425 for Frankfurt S7, Mannheim S8 and S9 (and maybe layer for RE70) DB Twindexx Vario for RE70 (New Train) And of course, your usual freight trains Extra Layers After the base trains there will also be some extra layers for owners of: Kassel - Würzburg: DB BR 401 ICE 1 (ICE Services) Frankfurt Fulda: DB BR 411 ICE-T (ICE Services) DB BR 111 Addon: RE70 Services Route Hopping If DTG ever considers my suggestion, and actually make the route, we will problably see the most amount of times that we can route hop in TSW, being: Kaiserslautern - Mannheim -> Mannheim - Frankfurt -> Frankfurt - Fulda -> Fulda - Kassel (or Würzburg) With the route hopping feature, the players will be able to play on all 4 routes smoothly and without going to the main screen, as well as having hours of fun! Extra Budget If DTG actually has a budget for more than 1 new train for this route, they could also include the BR 463, as it also operates on the S8 and S9 lines of the S-Bahn Rhine-Neckar. Final Words I think that's all, it seems like a realistic suggestion that DTG could be able to make, with a not so long route but with at least 1 new train, also some S bahn services with the 425 (whole S7 route as well). I really hope DTG considers this and make it in the near future!
75km is shorter than I thought certainly more than manageable, the Twindexx would be nice but DTG is allergic to new dostos it seems but fingers crossed
Accident idea and furthermore if one owns this they might as well get the alternative paint version for the 463 with Verkehrsrot VVO decals because in real life those go to trust and Central Station from Großenhain
those dosto EMUs would be super nice... and Mireos omg, that would be almost like having Desiro ML in the game... if they did that one, then just put on CityJet livery and bam, you have the Desiro ML's successor for S-Bahn/regional/commuter traffic in Austria (they ordered TONS of those for OBB)
