    Glitching out inside and out on 802 and for the 150/2 it's doing the same it's making me feel slick from looking at it this need fixing know

    Im on Xbox series x ready to go on riveria line , I spawn into Exeter saint David's to greeted by this ( anyone with epilepsy please take care as these videos contain mass flickering due to rendering issues)

    Genuinely makes me wonder where is the quality control if things like this is happening all the time??

    I'm not one to be that critical to dtg usually but oh my god this has gone t*ts up

    Notice it only appears on new locos and scenery and not old ones. (8F and 323 are unaffected here but 802 is.)

    I’m experiencing terrible audio popping and cracking. There’s times where the audio popping is so loud it makes me jump. I dare wear headphones.

    I to am attempting to play TSW6 on xbox series X and i to am getting the same very flashy screens with all of the locos in this route glad i am not eplectic, as shown in previous posts its the same on the US route as well nope its the same on all routes. I should have added i had also downloaded the update

    That is unacceptable! I know it’s early access, but still. It’s already been said, but I’m thinking the same thing. Where is the quality control?

    You're right! On Xbox Series X, all the new routes and trains suffer from this bug. My training center is the only route not bugged.

    AWS warning on 802 seems very quiet at default. Seem to remember this being an issue a couple of years ago on release.

    Just completed my first run in the line - XC 1E63 from Plymouth.

    Firstly something that is pretty bad is a weird audio glitch, it’s a loud high pitched noise that lasts around a second and seems crop up every 10 minutes. It’s bad enough that it leaves a hearing sensation after it’s happened - critical this gets fixed.

    As for the route, I’m quite impressed & overall it’s night & day compared to the release of WCMLS. The foliage is well done in terms of quantity & line proximity (other than the odd tree/bush protruding a little too much), however it does make the LOD & shadow rendering proximity very obviously late.

    I think the water textures are a little too shiny, it’s more like driving alongside blackcurrant jelly than water, it’s not terrible but not exactly great. Detail on the paved roads could use some work, they feel abit slapped down & then left alone.

    Ballast is 50/50, it looks like they realised the texture was wrong & started changing it, but hadn’t finished, between Plymouth & Newton Abbot it was ok, however from there to Exeter it still had that horrible TSW2 style stuff which just looks like badly laid tar.

    Rock faces etc, signage & overall lineside infra such as cabinets & fencing was good, along with telegraph poles & 5G masts etc. I think given some more attention this route could really be one of the greats, what’s there now is overall quite good but just not over that line quite yet.

    Just received a 6gb update for Morristown line. Hope this fixed stuff.

    I'm really hoping this'll get fixed before it gets late tonight. As I'm working Friday and throughout the weekend and will have no time to try it out.

    Tried the dispatcher scenario, I really did enjoy it but some feedback I would add to enhance the playability.

    1. Some of the dispatch locations were questionable to gain complete view of the PTI eg I wouldn't stand down the 1/4 of the length of an 8 car as I couldn't see the end of the second unit.

    2. Instead of giving one whistle it's normally two
    (I) For station work complete, all passengers are boarded and have alighted.
    (II) For train safety check complete, no one is in your PTI or in contact with the train. Train is safe to depart.

    I would add an addition task to watch the train out as it's your train until the tail lights are off the platform.

    I'm a dispatcher from a mainline station.

    There’s an audio glitch on the running sounds of the 802 on PS5 (as above) that sounds like a looping issue.

    More worrying is a huge loud digital audio glitch occurring every ten minutes or so whether in the loading screen or driving any route that points to something serious with the audio in the game in general. This is not a small looping glitch but a very loud audio glitch well above the volume of the game. Have typed this in bold due to the seriousness of this issue.

    AWS sounds are too quiet in the 802 - pretty standard as AWS sounds are always too quiet on PS5, nothing like the level one would hear in a cab ride video.

    The engine in the 802 shouldn’t be as loud as it is in the cab considering all the engines and traction equipment in the intermediate coaches

    I personally don't have an issue with this, otherwise it would be an extraordinarily boring experience. Maybe there should be a toggle for realistic or enhanced cab audio, though. After all, most of the classic diesels play the external thrash in cab and no-one complains about that!

    Yep this is preferable for me too. It’s not overbearing either so it doesn’t sound asif you’re sat in a loco.

    To my pleasant surprise I’m actually enjoying this route, but it would benefit greatly from a decent ballast texture, DTG please stop using the ugly grey ballast!

    Day of The Dispatcher - You're only required to "whistle" to the "driver" once the doors are closed. This isn't realistic operations of a dispatcher as far as I'm aware, unless Plymouth has their own method of working. You should be signalling to the guard, or "driver" in this case to close the doors and once again to say they're clear to depart.

    On steam, but I imagine this is like it on all platforms....

    I'm having troubles getting the raildriver (or well, my TSC-X controller, but it emulates a raildriver, so it's the same really) to work with the 802. Especially the throttle/brake lever is problematic - it simply does not work. No issue with the 150 and the 220. Anyone encountering the same issue?

    Edit: managed to solve it by calibrating the Raildriver in advanced control settings •facepalm•

    On ps5 and getting sound issues at random moments on riveria route. It’s really loud while my headphones are on also coming through tv speakers.

    Does it make you jump out of your skin at times?

    I don’t associate simulation with a thrown in horror experience too. I didn’t pay for jump scares.

    My first thoughts:
    Good
    - I think it is a big improvement on last year's UK route
    - The inclusion and details of the depots are good
    - The timetable especially is good, I like all the rail tours and variety of services
    - It is nice to see the 802 has been upgraded compared to the 801, such as interactable fuel filler caps, fixed guard controls, etc
    - I like some of the scenarios, especially Running On Fumes and Day of the Dispatcher
    - If the opportunity ever comes to get better sounds for the class 220, that would be good

    Bad
    - I don't like the camera barriers near the track, I think it would be better if these were removed
    - There are too many invisible walls, for example preventing you from walking along Dawlish seawall

    Bugs (I'm on PC Steam):
    - Individual coaches of the class 150, 220 and 802 are missing from formation designer
    - Formation designer won't let you add anything else to a formation with an 802
    - The Fuel Gauge interaction is misaligned and some of the fuel filler caps can't be interacted with on some of the coaches of the class 802 5-car version. They work correctly on the MeS coach. I think they also work correctly on the 9-car version.

    Did a run in a 150 just to enjoy the route at a slower pace to see the scenery but forgot to turn off dynamic weather so in true UK fashion got rained on for a lot of it so did a bit of a run back in an 802 to see a bit more.

    First thoughts are, it's really, really good! The scenery, the route itself and the announcements really add to the atmosphere and make everything feel more alive.

    The only hiccup I had was a stuck passenger door on the 150 even though I'd temporarily disabled the train faults for now after watching last night's stream.

    Will do a few more runs but at this rate it's likely to beat SEHS AS my favourite route to date!

    Yeah, I've been hearing that. On the loading screen too. Otherwise, it's been working ok. I hope they can get these issues fixed soon. Also, the headlights need to be much brighter. They're bright from the cab when in conductor mode.

    Apologies if this already been raised but the DSD/Vigilance alarm is piercingly loud on the Voyager could do with being turned down. I am playing on the PS5. Thanks

    I had the same class 220 fault they had on the stream. It’s to do with the brakes. You shut down the train to re start the engine (with brakes fully on). Once you have re started everything and go to move the brake/throttle lever it jumps straight to notch 1 (instead of going from emergency down through 100% to 0% first).
    It’s like the game forgets you have brakes fully on puts you on notch 1. Obviously in reality the brakes are still on and deadlock.

    What about the very loud audio glitch on PS5? This isn’t like a normal audio glitch, this is something seriously wrong with the game audio. It could seriously damage players hearing. It’s been several hours since it was first reported and it really needs an urgent patch.

    Fairly happy with the overall Riviera Line product once I got it working on the Xbox Series X. The TMS on the Voyager is particularly good.

    I would offer the feedback though that the Voyager engines (as per reality) should only be shut down via the TMS, the engine stop button on the desk is supposed to only be used in emergencies. This function is unfortunately lacking, but I only really think it’s worth raising here because it is included as one of the simulated menus (Command > Whole Train > Desk) as if it was supposed to function in this way, but then the two shutdown options on that screen don’t actually do anything.

    Also on the voyager, loading from journey mode, 1V47 Manchester (Exeter) to Paignton, I had two ‘Cab 2’ standard class vehicles in the train, so both ends of the train had identical cab / vehicle numbers. This hasn’t happened when dropping a 4 car 220 into free roam, and my trip on journey mode was cut short as I experienced the same brake issue as happened on last night’s stream, and that others have described.

    On the 802, it’s nice to now have more features of the guard panels working compared to the limited implementation on the 801, but this too isn’t perfect. The exterior bodyside indicator lights don’t illuminate as they should, and neither does the train door control handover button in the cab, causing the panels in the saloon / a realistic dispatch to not really work at all. I then lost the ability to release the doors from the cab, and the local door buttons on the rear-wall cab panels actually operate the door immediately behind the cab wall in the saloon, which isn’t supposed to happen of course. Things are better now than they were on the 801 (glad for the working buzzer for example) but still the door logic isn’t quite where it should be.

    On steam, I am trying to use the 802 on electric mode at Cardiff Central. This isn't working. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I pressed aux on for at least 10 secs, pantograph up and electric. Anyone got any ideas? 801 doesn't work either. I think this is user error :D

    First instance is between Torquay and Paignton and the second is just after Dawlish heading towards Teignmouth. Apologies for the photo quality but hopefully it illustrates the issue

    Has anyone else noticed the 150 braking sounds are a little bit too loud? Step one is loud enough, step 2 is almost deafening.

    I've just had it happen just after Starcross heading towards Exeter. Seems to be an issue with the rendering distance
