Most Dissapointing Roamap yet, but good to see the 204 moving up
Oh no! This i$ a true nightmare! Why are you doing this to me!
I like DTG again. *But this week or later?
Almost all German toys in da house. WOW!
Not a huge amount of change this week, but I’m glad to see the audio issues on the preserved collection routes are being investigated.
Suprised that Munich-Augsburg already moved up to next release
i think later
Maybe a month away if not longer - based on the Isle of White timings.
Here I am again checking up on Cement Circle for TSW2020. Since it’s no longer on the roadmap despite the continued plan to fix it, I’ll need someone to update me please.
I really can’t see it happening. I think TSW 2020 is dead. Long live TSW 2.
I’m gonna keep pushing until they completely rule it out (which they haven’t done). Full Circle will be the only trophy I don’t have.
...And to be fair while they’re still selling the Class 31 for TSW2020 morally they should fix it.
eee yyy BR 155 & BR 182 for SKA yyy ??? nein nicht?
Well I was hoping that Northern Trans-Pennine would get bumped. Based on other preserved collection routes, the next will come out in a week or so, so maybe 3 weeks (?)
I wouldn’t assume that the new German route will be too long since it’s not made by Rivet, but by DTG themselves.
Very excited for München - Augsburg soon!
And looking forward to RRO for preserved collection
Matt said it will be done
"The audio mixing issues we're investigating will lead to rebalancing work being done on Preserved Collection in coming months."
Am I the only one seriosly sad about this statement? The awful audio mixing is actually awesome since it prevents us from hearing the broken loco sounds. I dare anyone to play the BR146 on the Köln-Aachen, listening to the E-EE-EE-EE-EE-EEE-EE for half an hour and tell me the whole sound of that loco is not broken, it's not too quiet compared to the ambient it's in fact broken.
Even the sound when it works it's not terribly realistic either so I think putting it in the words you chose is a huge understatement and makes me really fear for the future "fixes" of preserved collection. I am already regretting purchasing RSN for TSW2 directly...
My cynical side is starting to think we better wait for the TSW2 BR146 which will come with full LZB, great sound but to get it we will have to get a new shiny route.
Oh wait it's already happening with the BR143 and 182 silly me...
And the fact it's going to be fixed "in the upcoming months" does not help either.
Can't wait to pay for a loco I already own on order to not have the one you broke.
I say it again. IT IS IMPERATIVE that the PRESERVED collection IS IN THE SAME STATE AS IT WAS IN TRAIN SIM WORLD 2020.
This includes, but not limited to:
-Sound (not audio mix) in the BR143, BR146, BR185, BR182
-BR146 Physics (not being able to reach 160 km/h)
-BR185 Physics (not strong enough for MSB Banking)
-LIRR M7 Screens not operational
-Class 377 Physics (braking performance)
Personally disappointed by this roadmap update, having already got the preserved collection i'm after already, I was eager to see some new stuff make its way to the Next Arrival section (like ECW class 313 or Faversham), just goes to show how important testing is prior to releasing a product, otherwise you end up spending months after release fixing things that should have been identified before it released.
Still, looking forward to playing Isle of Wight on Thursday. Perhaps the next roadmap update will see the PEP bumped up to Upcoming
Sweet! I hope that the idea of adding Preserved Collection stuff to the livery designer sees the light of day. I got really happy when I saw that. If your going by most popular, I personally like the 182+Control Car
DTG Natster & DTG Protagonist any news on cement circle? I get the “If it’s not on the roadmap...” rule but that’s never before included “if we took it off the roadmap claiming to have fixed it but still plan to push it to the previous game...” so I don’t know where I stand now. Or might I suggest putting it back on there with TSW2020 in brackets?
DB 182 in Scenario Planner !!!!!!!!!!!!!
dont have high expectation. for a roadmap. depending the content, it can take weeks or months. im suprised Munich - Augsburg already moved up to next release
Wuppertal -- Hagen!!
I am a BIG fan of German Stuff, but I feel a bit sorry if someone is not
On the other hand, then others will have fun!
What false promises on the roadmap? There haven’t been any.
I really like the German stuff (most problably because I am German)
But I would not accuse Matt for that. I think that is just how things happened. And by the way, the next route is an English one
It didn’t happen yesterday, therefore it’s “false”
false promises we're made <- that (implicitly) something might be sooner... I guess that's the point
It disappointing to see the continued lack of acknowledgment of many of the genuine issues being reported on the technical forum.
Is there any news on the bug fixes that you claimed were fixed in the last few roadmaps that PC users don't seem to have received yet?
The roadmap has never had timeframes on it, so maybe your disappointment is based on your expectation rather than any promises having been made. I would suggest not expecting things to avoid disappointment
With regards to the German content, Watch the last "roadmap stream" and they go into detail as to how they plan out releases and WHY things might be grouped up. I'll dig out a time code if people are interested.
If you mean Isle of Wight, that's not a DTG release so doesn't count
Of course it does, it is a full release which everyone (including you) will be able to buy. I think the Isle of Wight is the reason why DTG does not bring an English route next because they don´t want two English routes in quick succession.
I imagine it does count, as DTG and Rivet would have planned the route release together.
I actually really like this Roadmap. Not having any problems with SPG so not anxious for a patch. No one talks much about Oakville but I like it so I'm glad it's coming soon. Otherwise lots to look forward to especially 2 new American freight routes and a new locomotive in the distance. So what if it takes a while. We'd all like everything done lickety -split but that's not realistic. I'm old but I can wait a little while. Meanwhile there's so much German stuff maybe I should try it. Who knows I might like it. Keep on trucking DTG!! As for IOW, I pre-ordered it, not because I'm terribly interested in the route, but I want to support Rivet, Skyhook and other 3rd party ventures.
US freight is #1 for me but the German one is... 1.000001 so... You should try it! All these safety systems - it's fun
What false promise? The only things promised are: Preserved collection will come and we are working on what is on the roadmap. There never has been a promise about time lines, there is not even a promise that what is on the roadmap will be released.
The roadmap is just something that create some focus and be aware, Sam said in an earlier stream that we should expect lots op disappointment. Let's enjoy what we get and not complain about what cannot be done for any reason. If you don't like it at all, don't play this game, it's not worth the money for you.
I think the point of this gentleman is that he deceived himself a little, was too optimistic. It doesn't say: DTG made
I'm fed up with all these people setting false expectations and then getting angry because they are not met.
90% of clients of 90% of companies
But it's horrible I admit, hehe !!!
Am I forgetting something or has gwr disappeared off the road map or was it never on? I can't see it anywhere. Nevermind I just spotted it , think i need to go to specsavers.
If anything everything is much faster than expected. I thought the Munich Augsburg would come next year or near Christmas.
To get to the bottom of the list will take 3/4 months to a year, never expected anything faster than that, with all due respect, maybe you set the bar a little too high?
I'd rather wait to have a good product than to have a messy collection of bugs now.
Preserved collection is showing what the method of putting out content ASAP means, hopefully they have a different ethich for new releases and they take all the time they need.
Is the weekly roadmap update on YouTube been cancelled tonight ? Should have started at 7pm. If it's been cancelled could you please anounce it ? Thank you.
19:00 UTC so 25 min left
Now what I am truly interested in and what makes me excited is that HMA route is set for upcoming. That tells me that with a bit of luck, there is a chance that we may get three routes yet this year. Two I'd we don't count IOW.
I don't care so much about IOW (still will buy it when it comes out) as I do about upcoming Haubptstrecke route and SouthEastern High Speed.
I hope that SouthEastern comes out this year but if it doesn't, I don't mind (will not be disappointed). Especially because if something else takes it over.
However it goes, I'm actually pleas d to see how things are going. Excited too. There is one loco add on that doesn't have allocated route thou. Hmm...
Have you seen West Coast Mainline South DLC for train simulator?
Yes, taking the piss
No reply, oh well ! Here's a question I would have liked to have asked if it was on. Console owners were reporting on receiving updates today, but nothing on Steam for PC users. Why is this, and what was the update for ?
It's not yet 19:00 UTC
Munich-Augsburg and London-Faversham... Oh Yeah, Baby! This winter will be hot)
XBOX. Currenty at 4.1% of a 19GB update
The stream is at 19:00 UTC
They should use GMT not bloody UTC !
Still no any answers about Clinchfield railroad ((( So I ask my question on and on and on... Will you add this poor section Dante-St. Paul or not? Because this route is "in production study". Can you give me clear answer about it?
GMT and UTC are the same. Remember we are +1h because of daylight saving time
