London to Faversham is in UPCOMING! YES!!!!!
Good to see the red light problem on scenario planner in next arrival. I’l finally be able to drive my scenario using the Class 43 on NTP.
Good to see you are investigating the sound issues on the preserved collections
Happy to see the braking and sound on the class 377 being looked at, should make it more enjoyable to drive.
BR 101 is wrong again on Köln-Aachen
How stupid is your place between SKA and HRR always.
I’m very interested and excited to see the Great Western route in the 1970’s.
2 Fix are not fixt Düren Plattform 5 Doors bug is still there. Amd the 442 is not still in the Szenario planer
It looks like this has been corrected now as it shows:
[Loco Add-On] DKK-L7 01 - DB BR 101 (For Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr)
For me now
I fid it so silly that they are "investigating" the sound audio issues on the m3 and m7 and all the preserved collection trains except the 43 and 166 when they are so clearly obvious. The word investigating in that regard makes zero sense
Yeah I don't know when this was supposedly fixed but I just drove a service today (PC via steam) and had to open the doors on the wrong side for this service still to complete it.
They put the 101 on hrr on the roadmap where it should be
Still not fixt here is the prove
And The Red Talent2 Is still missing Guys Come on
finally! London to Faversham has moved up
I have noticed that as well.
I'm really excited that London to Faversham is coming soon! The 1970s GWE add on sounds really interesting as well!
I am a bit confused about one thing though. How come the GWE HST is accelerating incorrectly is in Next Arrival while the HST "no longer accelerating at a prototypical rate" is in upcoming? I thought these two issues were the same. Which of these will actually fix the acceleration?
It's cool that the clipping issue is being fixed in Harledson however there are clipping issues on the Bakerloo line at Kilburn Park, Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue (For Little Venice) Edgware Road, Regents Park, and Baker Street on the rear end of the Northbound Platform and the North end of the Southbound platform at Baker Street. Not to mention passengers still getting on top of each other when leaving the train and some shooting up to the sky like superman. Also the 1972 tube stock is way too quiet compared to reality.
Most important thing here - London to Faversham is moving up! =)
How did I manage to miss both the 1970s GWE addon and the Faversham High Speed moving up? Happy days anyway
Maybe I am just stupid, but what on the list is that Sam's secret that was supposed to appear?
I think Sam's secret has been put off to the new year as they didn't want loads of questions coming in when they've less staff in over Christmas (or something like that). I don't think they were planning to add "Sam's secret" to this roadmap.
As much as that makes sense, he himself mentioned it in one of the stream (in early December I think).
Sam posted this a couple of days ago over in the PC forum:
Didn't catch this one. Thanks for sharing.
I think I found a bug on the TGV I was coming out of the Marseille tunnel to Marseille and done the power change and then the emergency just came on and I couldn’t release the breaks no matter what the blue light just stayed on
Awesome, thanks for fixing thr 377's brakes
★ [Improvement] The BR Class 377 EMU brakes are over-powered on East Coastway
Hopefully the model used on SE HS will be correct straight away
Really good roadmap, also SE HS moving up to upcoming already! Can't wait
Going to repeat my post in the previous thread, as it has not been acknowledged...
The Baby Bullet was listed as having the HUD Interlock fixed a few roadmaps ago, however this still isn't the case and the Interlock is red when you can apply power, and white when you can't...
In addition, TSW 2020 and TSW 2 are still not compatible on Xbox, and will remove DLC licenses for one another.
Please can both be re-added to the Roadmap, as they're definitely not fixed.
GWR in the 1970s sounds great. I want to see what locos the pack includes. I would guess a class 37, Class 47, and HST. A shunter could be included as well.
Great western 1970 pack sounds interesting. But are we paying for liveries now ?
I didn't see it on the Roadmap, but I might've missed it. Are they going to fix the new issue with the Scenario Planner not allowing us to select our created liveries?
I am impressed by this roadmap, after "roasting" your previous roadmaps!
Although still under planning, it's good to see you have actually started investigating the audio issues in the preserved collection and identified which locos need it, maybe even prioritize the ones that have the worse audio.
I had to think twice before getting the LGV Méditerranée since it was just a high-speed route with only one train, but after playing it for a while, this is now my favorite TSW route! I like german routes, but the scenery in this french route and the beauty of the TGV is just incredible and beats the ICE by miles!
Can't wait to start seeing more french DLC, maybe a Dutch route and, who knows, a Portuguese route!
I see in the Roadmap that the pack is listed as 'Loco' but we don't know what it contains yet (other than a new timetable and something 1970s and blue). Would be nice if there's a new loco in there, have to see.
All they've said so far is that it'll include a BR blue class 52 and 'some new rolling stock', other than that, we know nothing yet.
Thanks for that. The new rolling stock could be nice, would be nice for more than the class 52 though. Although I' sure I'll buy that one anyway.
So this is the last roadmap to include details of bug fixes. That information will be included ‘elsewhere’ from next year. I really don’t know what to expect from that news. Shedding more light or being kept more in the dark?
Great to see you guys acknowledge and take sound issues more seriously. Especially since the port over to TSW 2 messed up several sounds in some shape or form.
If not seen already, may I point to you my thread which I made about the core game sound issues, which can be found here.
MAYBE a Swallow 125 as they were 1976-Present day
It's all good for our British and German friends, but new North American content seems as far away as ever. And the continual focus on peripheral frippery such as the livery editor and rewards/achievements makes me rather tired. This is a train simulator, is it not? End of whine.
I do want more american passenger content. That would be cool
ECW liver designer is moved up
and a bunch of bugs
also i feel like everyone forgot about the Clinchfield
Yeah, all the North American content is still in the production stage, hopefully either Cane Creek or The Clinchfield moves up in the next month or so...
I dont't think that they really identified which locos have the worst sound. If DTG would have done so, the DB BR 182 should already be on the list. The sound of this loco is awful.
According to the support team, the issue is already flagged, but why is it not on the roadmap?
DB BR 182 - If the player stands up while the train is in motion they will hear a loud wind sound from inside the cab and the engine sound exhibits loops, gaps and is considered too quiet. There are also no track or wind sounds when seated,
Looking forward to tonight’s stream.
Spoiler alert - I have a copy of the script.
Q. When is xxx happening? Sam - Look at the roadmap
Q. Are you going to do xxx route or loco. Sam - if it ain’t on the roadmap, it ain’t happening.
Repeat as necessary
Q. When is NEC coming to TSW 2? Sam- It's been answered before. Rewind about 5 minutes and there you go.
DTG patch the Sounds finaly For the PC DLCs butt the Red Talent2 and the Düren Platform 5 is still not fixt
Excited to see SHS moving up and the sound issues on the M3/M7 being investigated amongst others. Once the sound has been improved in all the preserved collection routes I’ll be a far happier player. Sound and graphical appearance really get you immersed in the experience.
Really looking forward to LIRR sound improvements. Hopefully, they do it for the Bakerloo Line as well.
Hope they’ll replace the doors sound when opening/closing from the M3 which is incorrect and taken from the M7
I hope that it will be something that increases transparency, as bug fixes are a very important part of what DTG should deliver.
In other news, apparently Sam has mentioned on the stream that the enhanced Bakerloo timetable is unlikely to be delivered as the dispatcher can't handle it. More broken promises?
