PS Legendary image in the header!
Lots of issues on the Road Map.
The missing Trophies for PS4 on IoW aren’t included though it would seem.
Nice 363 picture
Looking forward to the new stuff coming... next Thursday? I’m assuming that would be the release day for everything as usual.
Great to see livery designer compatability for preserved collection is now in production!
Curious that the heavy freight DLC has become detached from the NTP route and is now a section behind. Does this mean it is not going to be released with the 5th part of the preserved collection? Is this to do with the miles platting fix which is also still in production?
Still no sun in the sky for PS4. Not even in ‘in planning’. The Shard and Wembley Stadium are still in for a fix though. Odd priorities is all I’m saying. Over two months with no sunrise or sunset and likely at least another two months. Crazy.
OMG Livery Designer For Preservd Collection You guys are Awsome
If I read the roadmap correctly. The heavy freight pack for NTP is not being released at the same time as the route. Is there a reason for this?
Maybe some fixes? Or to test the Miles Platting issue without anyone having the pack maybe.
I'm sure it will be mentioned in the stream later on.
Hopefully the IOW fixes come before that. Two weeks this Thursday is came out. It as was announced that the textures would be fixed quickly, with other updates to follow.
[Investigate] In-cab controls for the Headlights on the BR 143 are reported as not working
They worked for me in RSN, MSB, RRO, SKA and HRR, but only set the to red on RSN, so maybe that's what's not working?
As an American player, I'm feeling a little chilly.
I was specifically looking for this one too
I just did a Rhein-Ruhr Hauptstrecke session on PS4 Pro, and the sun was visible. It was setting right above the horizon on a westbound freight service around 7 PM in summer. Unmissable ball of fire in plain view shortly after you depart from Bochum-Ehrenfeld.
Maybe your issue is isolated to specific route(s)?
It doesn't affect preserved collection routes, only routes new in TSW2.
Thank you very much for this. This is the single bug that is preventing me from fully switching to TSW2 from TSW2020.
you need to fix gravity in the preserved collections on PS 4. its becoming a joke now to drive trains uphill gaining speed and downhill losing speed. on wsr its a joke and with all the up and down hill and linespeed changes, so confusing. hurry up and sort this out please
I'm really looking forward to all this new routes.
But I'm wondering about something...i'm missing a route on the preserved collection Roadmap. It's the NEC - Northast Corridor New York Route.
Will it not be released to the collection to TSW2 or has it be forgotten?
NEC is not coming to TSW 2. At least not as a preserved route from TSW 2020.
And to help with their broken promises PTSD, little reminder that DTG made that clear since TSW2 launch.
Ok, too bad. This route was not bad, it was also quite fun with the Amtrak Loco.
Please also consider a similar fix for Rapid Transit. In the profile stats there are medal symbols next to Rapid Transit, but the route makes use of completion check marks.
It's not the gravity it's the issue, it's the fact the HUD is wired backwards.
It depends on the orientation of the loco in relation to the direction of travel / or on the number of the cabin used (if the locomotive has two). # 1 = OK. # 2 = inverted Yes, it's crazy... haha
Now we can do 377’s in the GWR livery soon
Or at least try to
Good thing to add current bugfixing to the roadmap in more detail!
I was looking forward to making it into a Gatwick Express Livery as they are very similar to a 387... so I thought I might aswell as they are currently running on the Coastway.
See the stream. I think GWE was wore work than anticipated and they try to avoid at least some bugs in preserved collection. Therefore they decided to take the time that is needed. I think this is a wise decision. There is so much to play right now, I can wait a bit longer.
Yeah, plus if they have managed to avoid sound issues with GWE. Then at least we know it can be fixed in the routes already released
only issue is it wont run on the route - the OHLE isnt real in GWE, its just a model. the route pre-dates DTG actually adding working OHLE.
t depends on the orientation of the loco in relation to the direction of travel / or on the number of the cabin used (if the locomotive has two). # 1 = OK. # 2 = inverted Yes, it's crazy... haha
i dont think so when i used to drive 47s and 33s it didnt matter what end of the loco you was driving gravity still happened. uphill you lose speed downhill you gain speed
We clearly play different games
Obviously, 33s and 47s could be buged. I allow it to be aware.
...fixing the missing sun for consoles, on all new TSW2 routes, is very important for the immersion of the game. So it has to be part of the roadmap. Otherwise I'm very satisfied with all of the points already mentioned. TSW has developed very well in the recent years!
That’s why we have off the rails mode
Must be PS4 specific, because I had no problems with WSR on PC.
I did have these problems on TVL though.
Go to the map (9) - in those cases, the loco is facing backward.
I figured as much, when I used the camera option 2 to take a screenshot, it took me all the way to the rear of the train. I've already reported the issue, and I believe DTG is aware of it. I guess I was lucky enough with the services I've played on WSR so far, as all locos have spawned in their correct position.
well yeah it you want to run a GWR 377 on any other route with 3rd rail/overhead electric but the train itself will not work on GWE - it literally wont have any power. IT WILL NOT WORK ON GWE regardless of off rail mode.
My theory is this: it's intentional, but sometimes, in the editor, they (DTG) happened to put the locomotive "backward". Yard-switching is a different story. There is no front or rear as in A -> B service Just a theory.
Wouldn't have been much of a problem if the HUD gradient indicator would adjust based on the trains current direction of travel, like it did on TSW1.
This current solution is obviously bad, but this is probably not a bug, just a bad concept. They should definitely change that.
UI Fixes vs UI... ekhm... Artists vs Roadmap
I wouldn't know why this HUD Gradient indicator thingy wouldn't be an unintentional bug. (Or, in much simpler words, I think it's a bug).
The gradient indicator in TSW1 adjusted itself based on the direction of travel, and good old Train Simulator has had a HUD adjusting itself to the direction of travel for years. In my experience, nobody ever complained about it and it all made good sense. Why would you intentionally change that in TSW2?
And perhaps it wouldn't be really a problem, if some services didn't spawn with their locomotives backwards. :P Although I imagine it'd still be confusing during shunting operations, or when trains need to turn around after reaching a terminus station or something. Most modern trains don't even really have a "front". The "front" is depending on the direction of travel. :P
For me that was a "problem" since CSX HH (... TSW1, '2020...) - cab1, OK; cab2, not OK (as leading)
According to me, nothing has changed. I don't know why some people have started to complain only now
PS Of course, the reservations are fundamental. I really think it works wrong
DTG Protagonist, you mentioned in a stream last week that the Class 313 for East Coastway was almost finished and would move up the roadmap but it's still 'in production', the same section it was in on the last roadmap. Is there any reason for this?
Yes it will.
I stand corrected - thank you Lord Anthony of DTG.
Off the rails mode allows you to run any train on any route, regardless of the (lack of) power input. Hence why it’s called off the rails mode.
I think you guys should put a Update for Hauptstrecke München Augsburg on the roadmap. Here's why:
• BR 423 Door Sound
• The clocks at München Hauptbahnhof
• Dealys in "Commuter Confusion" scenario
• BR 423: too long ZZA names
• Side ZZA is stretched on BR 423
• Material glitches on the inside roof of the BR 423 when the passanger lights are out
• Holes in the ground
• Fix order of scenarios in journey menu
• Fix names of services
• You can see a floating wall down the Munich Hbf (tief) tunnel
• This suicidal lady
Mistakes and inaccuracies:
• Augsburg Station sign
• The huge S-Bahn & DB Logo at Hackerbrücke are completely messed up! Did the DB not allow you their logos there only or something weird like that?
• Lochhausen station sign has "Lochausen" instead of "Lochhausen" written on it
• Maybe add the "I ❤ M" sign at Hackerbrücke
• "Augsburg Hauptbahnhof" for the ICE 3 destination board
• BR 423: S-Bahn Logo for ZZA combined with "Sonderfahrt"
New scenario planer paths:
• Hackerbrücke Gleis 2 -> Donnersbergerbrücke Gleis 1 (S7)
• Donnersbergerbeücke Gleis 4 -> Hackerbrücke Gleis 2 (S7)
• Donnersbergerbrücke Gleis 4 -> München Hbf. Gleis 34 (BOB)
• München Hbf. Gleis 34 -> Donnersbergerbrücke Gleis 2 (BOB)
• München Hbf. Gleis 35 -> along the S-Bahn platform Hackerbrücke -> Overpass -> normal S-Bahn route
• München Hbf. Gleis 28 -> Pasing Gleis 4 (e.g. Mittenwaldbahn but also many more trains)
• München Hbf. Gleis 35 -> This siding [click]
• This siding [click] -> München Hbf. Gleis 35
Separate names with a comma.
