It's a good alternative if you lack the room or funds to put up a 'physical' model railroad. Got it a while ago, saw some of the default and workshop creations. Pretty impressive I must say... But I'll get into it after I can overcome my procrastination and create 3-D assets & stock of my choice !
Yes, it is a cute and fun little game. Though keep in mind that it really is just a model railway simulator, not a realistic one. While you can get in the trains and drive them, the controls are really simplified. But I can recommend it if you are interested in building model railway stuff!
