I would like to propose a Romanian route to possibly be a DLC for TSW. The Câmpina-Brașov railway line is a 74km long route from the foot of the carpathian mountains to the beautifull city of Brașov, along the M300 main line. This line is one of the busiest routes in Romania. This route would be something completely new for the TSW franchise. Start at the beginning of the carpatian mountains in Câmpina and start driving past winding curves and bridges, before entering the Prahova valley, where you can see the beautifull Bucegi mountains. As you enter Predeal station, you will drive on unmodernised tracks at slower speeds drive trough a few tunnels, before entering the Timiș valley. Wind through the valley next to the DN71 national road. Finally, you leave the mountains and arrive in the Brașov railway station. This route has 17 stations with a top speed of around 110km/h with speeds in the prahova valley being around 80km/h and 65km/h in the Timiș valley. What makes this route so special? - Beautiful mountains - This route has modernised tracks and unmodernised tracks. Giving 2 completely different experientes ( pictures of new and old tracks on this route) Possible rolling stock for the route: - CFR class 41, an iconic Romanian train, build in the Communist era, between 1966 and 1991. It has a top speed of 160km/h - GFR Marfa class 40 (Freight) - CFR class 47. It is the modernised version of the class 40 and 41, They where modernised in 2006 and run at 160km/h. . Operators? The main operator on this route is CFR calatori (the state railway company), but there are other private operators ( wouln't justify appearing in TSW because they each have like 10 services a day) - Regiocalatori - Transferoviar calatori - Astra Trans Carpatic - Softrans This route offers a lot of service variation such as: - IR-RE trains - Regional trains - Freight trains IR services take 1h and 30 min and regional services 2h. Route map: Highlights of this route: Prahova Valley - Tunel mic si mare (Timisu de Sus) - Sinaia station -Predeal station -Timis valley So, why this route? - beautifull scenery - interesting trains - a variety of modern train tracks and old classic romanian rail infrastructure ( a completely different experience) - a new country - authentic eastern european villages along the route An ideal time setting of this route would be after 2011, because than the tracks where modernised in the Prahova valley. This route already exist in TSC made by a few third party developers ( trainmotion, railstudio) It think it would be a very good collaboration if one of these developers would work with DTG as a third party developer.
