Rome - Naples high-speed railway is 205 km long high speed railway running between Roma Termini and Napoli Centrale stations. Operating speed of the line is 300 km/h. The travel time from Rome to Naples lasts approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. 205 km is long, but this would be realistic route for TSW2, because the scenery of the route is mainly farmland, like LGV Mediterranee, and there are not very much stations on the line. This would be awesome route for TSW2, and probably the first Italian high-speed route for TSW2. The line is equipped with ETCS level 2.

Rolling stock for this line would be:

    ETR 400/Frecciarossa 1000

The ETR 400 or Frecciarossa 1000 is the second newest high-speed train of Trenitalia. It is running on Frecciarossa services around the Italy. The train is manufactured by Bombardier Transportation and Hitachi rail Italy.

    ETR 500

The iconic ETR 500 high-speed train is used on Frecciarossa services along the ETR 400.
