Ciao ciascuno, TrainGeek08 here and today I am suggesting Italy for the first time, but not what you think, I am suggesting the 127 mile Rome-Naples High-Speed Line as you get to drive Italian high speed traction and this is similar in nature to Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Wurzburg but without as much tunnels Stock included in base route: The Frecciarossa 1000 High Speed EMU And the Italo AGV 575 High-Speed EMU (no regional services on this line I'm afraid) Training (In Training Center): Frecciarossa 1000 Introduction AGV 575 Introduction Scenarios: Roma Start-Up: (Difficulty - 1) Drive a AGV 575 empty from the depot to Roma Termini station ready for the start of service The Red Arrow: (Difficulty - 2) Trenitalia are rivals to Italo and want to prove their worth, drive a Frecciarossa 1000 from Naples to Rome Mixed Operations: (Difficulty - 4) A Italo AGV unit has failed 10-15 miles outside of Rome, drive a Frecciarossa 1000 to pick it up during a Italian rain storm (it's not all about rivalry you know ) Parallel Running: (Difficulty - 2) Italo and Trenitalia are promoting their trains they use on the high-speed line, pick either the Italo AGV 575 or the Frecciarossa 1000 and drive parallel to the other all the way to Rome from Naples, have a bit of a race you know Timetable: 2018-2019 Timetable Your job below is to find me Potential DLC for this route, I don't think anything in game already will layer in I'm afraid Stations on Page 2...
For a DLC Train this can be ETR600 and ETR610 tilting trains. ETR 610 is 15kv 16.7hz AC ETCS ZUB Integra Signum Luzern Sursee PZB LZB ÖBB DB. ETR600 is Italy only 3kv DC and 25kv 50hz. Another 300 kmh 185 mph capable train for DLC is ETR500
Page 2: Stations: Roma Termini: Roma Termini (in Italian, Stazione Termini) (IATA: XRJ) is the main railway station of Rome, Italy. It is named after the district of the same name, which in turn took its name from ancient Baths of Diocletian (in Latin, thermae), which lie across the street from the main entrance. Napoli Centrale: Napoli Centrale (Naples Central Station) (IATA: INP) is the main railway station in the city of Naples and in southern Italy and the sixth largest station in Italy in terms of passenger flow with an annual ridership of 50 million. It is located next to Piazza Garibaldi to the east of the old city. It is the primary rail terminus and station for Naples, and serves Trenitalia national railways and EAV. This one has an underground section known as Stazione di Napoli Piazza Garibaldi (Naples Garibaldi Piazza station), which is served by the metropolitan trains of the line 2, line 1 (Garibaldi), and 3, 12, 14, and 15 EAV Circumvesuviana lines which is accessible from 2 entrances inside the Centrale station, 1 outside in glass, and from the new Garibaldi Square. That's the only two stations en-route ladies and gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed it, it's something different from the UK stuff you know , until next time, I've been TrainGeek08 and I'll see you around, arrivederci ciascuno, arrivederci
Any chance you could find me any freight that operates on this line if any, it's just to have some variety in what to drive, cheers for the ideas though
Ciao! I'd love to see an italian route, but sadly Italy is not something that DTG is familiar with. We can maybe hope for a 3rd party from Italy one day. Does anyone know if there was a good 3rd party that made italian routes and locos for TSC?
As TSP has said, it is a suggestion for this route, which means that it hasn't been developed to TSW (that we know of)
Interesting idea . The only problem with this route would be the length; would DTG consider doing a Kassel-Würzburg scale route again or not?
