Rail lines Rollingstock the line between Rosenheim and Kufstein is a historic route. The route was part of the historic Bayerische Maximiliansbahn, a railway line between Ulm in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Austrian border at Kufstein and Salzburg. Not to be confused with the Pfälzische Maximiliansbahn between Neustadt an der Weinstraße and Wissembourg. The total lengte from Rosenheim to Innsbruck is 105 km (65 miles) from Wörgl is the railjet via a highspeed rail with 220 km/h via tunnels. Raillines The Meridian provides passenger transport on this route with RE trains between Munich and Kufstein. This train stops between Rosenheim and Munich at all intermediate stations. The ÖBB runs RailJet trains on this route, mostly coupled RailJet units, and the ÖBB runs the Eurocity from Munich to Milano Centrale/Venezia/Verona in collaboration with the DB and the FS. From Kufstein can you take the BRB RB nach München this train departs from Kufstein and goes via Rosenheim to München HBF. To Innsbruck you can Take the S 4 this train stops at all stations. The IC to Italy - München HBF that drives from München via Rosenheim, Kufstein, Wörgl, Jenbach and Innsbruck to Italy. The RJX drives from Vienna via Rosenheim (not stopping at that station) via Kufstein and Wörgl over the highspeedrail to Innsbruck and then further to Zürich. than you have the Nightjet from Amsterdam to Innsbruck REX 2 From Kufstein to Innsbruck stops not on al stations. The railjet From Munchen To Innsbruck via Rosenheim, Kufstein, Wörgl, Highspeedrail to Innsbruck. Rollingstock Railjet, 1100 serie Nightjet with Vectron NS 193 4024 IC München - Italy ÖBB 193 for cargo, DB 187, ÖBB 4020, TRI,
Excellent idea and you might need to know this will affect Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg due to ÖBB services running there including Augsburg Gbf München Laim Hall in Tyrol freight services including Railjet Nightjet Sleeper train. Regarding the sleeper train Innsbruck München Hbf Augsburg Nürnberg Aschaffenburg Frankfurt Am Main Köln Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Amsterdam it's operated by a ÖBB1116/1216. Another thing you need to consider is Innsbruck Hbf having Motorail autoslaap trein in Dutch language dock. That way there is the ability to fill up Laaers 560s longer version Ddm 915 with cars then attach them to the back of the sleeper train Innsbruck to Hamburg Altona EN50490/50491 Hans Albers. Other Sleeper trains run Innsbruck Worgl where they use Giselabahn Salzburg Worgl Line to the Tauernbahn junction for Graz Villach. Exception being EN462 Kalman Imre combined with ÖBB 467/466 Wien Hbf Salzburg Zurich via Innsbruck using the Whole Line to Rosenheim.
in the Netherlandss we havent a carsleep train (autoslaaptrein0 since the late 80's but i like the idea
Did some travelling around Austria in the early 80's and yes it was great. No dud lines or traction and unlike Germany (at the time) most of the rolling stock had decent cloth upholstered seats. My favourite were the Class 4010 "Trans Alpine" electric units. Very comfortable with 2 + 1 seating in second class. No Wikipedia link but if you go to the European Rail Server, Austria, EMU's and historic a nice collection of photos. There's also a version in TS so not inconceivable in TSW.
And has the advantage, from a development perspective, of not needing a new signage/signals/safety system routine to be built, since it's basically identical to Germany's. Not to mention the money-saving opportunity of reskinning the BR 182, since the Eurosprinter/Taurus series is the OBB's principal locomotive; and I believe the Railjet and EC coaches are the same UIC-x wagons we already have as ICs with the 101.
Before the Nightjet Innsbruck Dusseldorf got extended to Amsterdam via Duisburg Oberhausen Arnhem Railway those carried Dutch cars rare cases British license plate cars because hook of Holland has ferries to the United Kingdom at Düsseldorf Hbf Autozug platforms
I might have to tell you this the Railjet Coaches are Siemens Venture coaches with Taurus locomotive front. This route will impact Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen by adding ÖBB services
Railjet Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg represented by the 20:43 München-Augsburg & 08:40 Augsburg Munchen. Köln-Aachen Nightjet 07:30 Köln hbf 08:15 Aachen Hbf and 23:20 München Hbf 23:50-0:05 Augsburg Hbf
Correct because these services are missing on the original route. Benefit of ÖBB trains on both Munich Augsburg and Köln Aachen is that you can max out ES64U2 to 230 kmh 145 mph when running on LZB
EC coaches aren't UIC-x coaches (these are recognisable by the rounded of roof edges in real life), but they are part of the same family of Eurofima coaches that the current in-game IC coaches are also part of (though there are significant differences between the ÖBB and DB ones). ÖBB IC and EC trains also often use the Modularwagen, which use a larger loading guage. The Railjets use completely different purpose made Siemens Viaggio coach sets. I don't want to come over as some know it all, so sorry if I did
