Hi, i created this thread to know if it's a good idea to buy Bahnstrecke Salzburg-Rosenheim route on xbox series x or not, because i like german and austrian routes but my series x had had some performance issue (loading of mountains and fps) on Semmeringbahn route and i had to ask back the money (althoug it is a very good route). Now i wouldn't like to have the same problem with this line. Then, when Db br 101 expert was showing during the stream, i had looked the first look and the train seemed set at one of stations of this route... it seems Bad Endorf. So could this train be a future dlc for this route? What is your though?
I have both XSX and RTX 2080 and I7 on PC. I am aware of the issues (same assets as Series S) see mountain uploads there are on XSX. Vorarlberg is unplayable for me. But unlike the Semmeringbahn, if I exclude the 2 hairpin bends, which are located at the beginning of the mountain pass (the mountains that arrive at much later are noticeable), I have not noticed obscene loadings of the other mountains. We are at the level of RSN and MSB or even SPG. On Rosenheim-Salzburg, if you drive with an interior camera, you won't notice the mountains in the background much because they are low and very distant. Maybe to decide, first search for a video for XSX on Youtube and see if it is acceptable for you or not. Or buy on the Microsoft store so the route will be playable on both console and PC. Of course, you can't find the huge Steam discounts, but you can play it on 2 different platforms.
