today I'm suggesting Rostock S-Bahn Network The Network Map(the map and the info are from wikipedia) Entire network have a length of 90,7 Km in the network there are 3 line: the S1, his length is 13,3 Km, there are 10 stations and run from Rostock HBF to Warnemünde the S2, that line is long 47,6 Km, have 17 stations and run from Warnemünde to Güstrow via Rostock HBF and the S3 is 58,1 Km, have 18 station, even that is from Warnemünde to Güstrow, but from Warnemünde to Rostock HBF have the same station of the S1 and the S2, and from Rostock HBF to Güstrow use another route than the S2 (watch the map) Rolling Stocksin that S-Bahn network are principally used two type of trains: The DB BR 442in Rostock Network are used the DB BR 442 ''Talent 2'' EMUs in a 5 cars consist we already have seen and drove the Talent 2 in Rapid transit, but it was only in the 3 cars consist, and it is a DB BR 1442, so why don't getting a new and maybe better Talent 2? some technical info: the Talent 2 EMUs has starded working in the Rostock network in the 2013, and those EMUs get a max speed of 160km/h and some pictures from internet: DB BR 143in the Rostock S-Bahn network are even used the famous DB BR 143, that we already have seen in RSN and that who own RSN and MSB can use it in MSB. in rostock S-Bahns those locos are at the head of 3 cars sets and them have a max speed of 120Kmph. DoSto Coachin the Rostock S-Bahn are used the DoSto coaches, usually are in a set of 2 coaches and one cab car, those coaches are the same that we can get in RSN and MSB those coaches can travel at a max speed of 160km/h DoSto cab carsin that S-Bahn network is used the second generation of DoSto cab car, them were built between the 1992 and the 1993, those can travel at the max speed of 140km/h cab: the cab of that DoSto look like the DB BR 143 one exterior: Rostock HBF station The Futurein the future if DTG made that route, the network can be extended to Stralsund, the length is of 72Km, kinda like RT, that would be the perfect way to add freight. another suggestion can be adding the freight yards of the harbor, where if DTG do the DB BR 294, the diesel freight operation whould fit in an awesome way. feel free to say what you think about that I'm sorry for my bad English all pictures are from internet P.S. I know that many don't want more S-Bahns routes
I really like this idea! Really, it would be awesome... Talent 2 for some fast action, BR 143 for those classic vibes Maybe light freight, not sure about freight on this route... One little mistake you made: The BR 143 drives at a max speed of 120 km/h, not 120 mph. (Would be pretty fast for such a locomotive) Other than that, great proposal! Would like to see this make it into TSW...
oh lol, thank you yeah, there are some, tracks used for diesel freight between Rostock HBF and Warnemünde, there is use the DB BR 294, are really little tho. but in the east side of the Unterwarnow there is a pretty big yard, that have more Diesel tracks than electric ones, and there are some docks (dieles), that yard fit better in a Rostock - Stralsund extension tho
As far as we know... you might get lucky on this one. There is a file in the game that lists a bunch of internal names of DLC, including some we haven't seen yet. "Rostock" has been in there for a very long time now, which could mean a lot of things- it could mean this route, it could mean any other route in the area, and we don't even know if it's still in development or anything. The biggest problem with this is how much of the rolling stock is reused, but if they make a 5-car Talent 2, the older Doppelstock, and a 143 with destination boards, it might be just new enough. It's certainly the right length, and a BR 294 would work well on it just like it would on RSN and MSB (That loco is also mentioned in the files, but it isn't clear if it's a loco DLC by itself or with a route or whether or not it comes with rolling stock or what- DTG is full of surprises. I think it will be a loco DLC since it would work so well on all of these routes.)
Yeah, but it's impossible to know for sure. I think the only reason they say that is because it's been in the files for a very long time and there has never been a hint of it releasing, while other routes like TVL showed up only a couple weeks before announcement. But the BR 182 was in the files for a long time before release as well, so really nobody knows.
Yep even BR 294 and Class 52 are there from a lot of time, but exactly what you said, we will see what will happen
