We haven't had a dutch route yet in tsw2, so I think rotterdam to amsterdam should be included. Both rotterdam and amsterdam are major cities in the Netherlands and quite a lot of services go in and out of there. Route There are a few different routes in between Rotterdam and Amsterdam which can be taken, One express and two other ones which have mostly stopping services. Each route is around 40-50 miles long [65-80 km]. Below are the three possible routes that can be used for this new route. The express route which only calls at schiphol airport [Used by thalys and intercity direct services]. The second route which is used by stopping services with a lot more stations and traffic. The third route which calls at even more stations but not as much trains can do this route since they turn to utrecht east of the route. Personally I think the second route is probably the best since it stops at some but not too much stations. Rolling stock Will be talked about in the reply
NS has some weird and wonderful trains in their fleet. [Intercity trains are used on route 2, Sprinter trains are used on route 3, Intercity direct and thalys are used on route 1]. The virm [intercity]. . The staddler/flirt 3 [sprinter]. The ICMm [intercity] Intercity Direct [basically a 146.2]. Tgv reseau [Thalys].
nice idea there actulley four routes to be done the fourth one that you didnt mention is the line that is between Leiden CS towards Schiphol Airport and then continiu to Amsterdam CS. Flirt doesnt drive there in the west for sprinter service mostly is it the SLT (Sprinter Light Train) and the SNG (Sprinter Nieuwe Generatie(Sprinter New Generation)).
