Presenting a suggestion for TSW3 - Hope Valley Line The route runs between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield. Stations. Sheffield, Dore & Totley, Grindleford, Hathersage, Bamford, Hope, Edale, Chinley, Where the route can then split via Hazel Grove and Stockport. Or New Mills Central, Strines, Marple, (Rose Hill Branch) Romiley, where the route again can split via reddish or Hyde. This would provide a number of different services with a multitude of differing TOCs, Northern opperate 1 an hour from Man. Picc. to Sheffield, (Stopping service) 4 every 3 hours to Rose Hill Marple (Semi Fast/ Stopping) and 1 every 2 hours to New Mills Central (with an irregularly served station at Belle Vue). These are all served via Class 150, 156 and 195s. East Midlands also run one an hour between Liverpool and Norwich, which would provide a semi-fast service for players wanting such, calling at Manchester Picc, Stockport and Sheffield only. served by class 156s and 158s. TransPennine also have a once hourly service between Picc, stockport and sheffield, with an occassional stop at Dore & Totley. Served by the Class 185. With the Cement factory and Quarries in the Hope Valley, there is the prospect of freight services transporting goods between the plant/ rail terminal to Sheffield and Manchester and shunting operations too. And the RHTT can be layered in. Signalling is a mixture of mechanical and electric, and with the 2021 announcement of upgrading to the line, the possibility of extra services isn't beyond the possibility of reality either.
Good suggestion, you've mentioned different kinds of rollingstock but which ones will come with the route and when is it set.
The rolling stock listed is currently what is found on the line. I'm not fussed at the era it is set or which trains are features in the base dlc. I'm leaving that open for DTG/ other users . Personally I'd love for the 156/158 to be default and the rest layered in/ dlc addons . Or even the Pacer . But I dont recall if that frequented the line.
