We already have it in some of the routes, but in Willseden junction on the Mildmay line, the route hopping is one of the best placed in the game, it actually leads towards the station you are hopping to. Granted, this cannot be done on all routes, but a random route hopping placed on the end of a platfom? What ya think? I think if we are going to have different routes running out of one station or in different parts of the station, then the points should be towards those platforms. The network needs to join up better for sure, if you are on the Bakerloo and you need to route hop, then that point should be where you would go in real life to get to the next platform or different route.

A better idea would be to get rid of the route hopping markers altogether (they are an eyesore) and make route hopping a menu item, directly from the pause page. “But that takes you out of the game world” I hear everyone cry. “But so does walking to the marker and pressing X” I reply. You are taken out of the game world anyway. Just cut out the walking and the markers and have it as a global hopping feature. It would be much better but sadly I fear it won’t happen. Fast travel works from the map, route hopping can work from a menu, and no more glowing daleks (and their random placement) polluting the look of the stations.

Yes and no. You are right, the bright glowing Daleks take away from the gaming experience and remove you from the realistic side anyway, so yes good shout. I myself turn off all the scenario cones in the game. However, if the glowing Daleks where moved to a out of the way place, exit, elevator, whichever leads to where you are going in real life. Replace the Dalek with a Dr. Who :) or maybe a NPC station staff or a ticket machine. It would take a bit more to create, but once done it would be done and that way you are still in the game. You can creat a sub menu in the pause or map menu, but then why limit it to just route hopping, you could pick any map, any route, any train, change the weather...the list could go on and be great, but it could be a bit of a monster then.
