I would like to suggest the Keikyuu line that runs in Japan. The line is perfect because of its mix between a suburban and urban feel to it. Trains run between shinagawa and misakiguchi. With branches separating to haneda airport and etc. there are 72 stops in totaling has 84 kilometers of track. It would be a big route but this gets the essence of rush hour because the keikyuu line transport 1.2 million passengers everyday.
