From 58 minutes in Be nice to have a diesel line for Germany with some BR612 and BR628/648 action not too long or short with some nice scenery and scenario potential. On the electric section, the other loco's wagons coaches etc can be used.
Living not far from this route, I'd love to see it. You could set it in recent times, which would mean a vlexx license would be required, but we could get: Br 620/622 (2 vs 3 car set) DMU Talent 3 (could reuse a lot of SKA's Talent 2 assets) HRR's Br 425 could sub in for the Talent 3 as it was still used for a long time (in DB Regio livery). If we go with your suggestion, martschuffing, we could get Br 612 and HRR's Br 425 could be the second, reused loco. The Br 612 would run the entire route while the Br 425 would run between Neubrücke (Nahe) and Saarbrücken Hbf. The same deal would go for vlexx with the Br 620/622 and Talent 3. There could also be some freight layers between Neunkirchen (Saar) and Saarbrücken as there are still a lot of steel trains on that part of the route. It would only be 20 minutes of journey time for them, but that's around the same as HRR and RRO. Saarbrücken still has 2 V60s, so the Br 363 could get a layer as well. I definitely support a suggestion that would get us Saarbrücken Hbf
La ligne Sarrebruck Trèves serait un meilleur ajout pour le fret et le passager (saarstrecke) Die Linie Saarbrücken Trier wäre eine bessere Ergänzung für Fracht und Passagier (saarstrecke)
Hey guys, thanks for the support. Yes, I meant the 628/628-2, Lint as well, I would like to see a regio swinger too, plus I'm sure I've seen a yellow liveried 204 on the route too! There'd be no need to obtain licenses as they already have those for DB! And as you say Saarbrucken would be good, we were promised it in TS but it never happened! And as for the V60 that would be great with some shunting layers. Love that little lok!
Yes, it would but it isn't specifically a diesel line which is why I suggested the route above. RSSLO I think were going to do the Trier Saarbrucken line at one point or was it GBE?
Just in addition since you mentioned the Br 204; Most switching in Neunkirchen (Saar) and Saarbrücken is handled by Br 294s. That could be a nice bit of loco DLC for this route
Looks like we can add International transborder routes as Extensions. First one is Karthus-Luxembourg That involves PZB Sifa to Memor Crocodile Luxembourg and voltage change 25kv 50hz to Germany 15kv 16.7hz AC. Then the same voltage change occurs at the LGV Est Bardecourt-Forbach-Saarbrücken line DLC. That one involves KVB France UK HS1 to Germany PZB Sifa LZB. Not sure if you actually find SNCF DMUs traverse this line as Transborder services like Saarlouis-Saarbrücken-Metz.
