I would like to suggest the Heart of Wales Line as a future route for Train Simulator.
    The Route

The line is 121 miles long. Running from Swansea, in West Wales through the heartlands of Wales to towns such as Ammandford, Llandrindod Wells, Llandovery and Knighton before joining onto the Welsh Marches Line at Craven Arms. Services then continue to Church Stretton before terminating at Shrewsbury. Several smaller stops on the route include Builth Road (where the former Mid Wales Railway passed underneath the Heart of Wales Line), Bucknell, Penybont, Dolau and Climeri.

One notable landmark on the route is the 193 yard Knucklas Viaduct which, carries the line over the village of the same name.

    Operations

Passenger services on the line are normally operated by BR Class 150's and Class 153 Sprinter Units. These are now operated by Transport for Wales. Class 175's have been used on the line on rare occasions in the past. There is no regular freight traffic carried over the line but it is able to accommodate occasional EWS diversions from Margam and Llanwern.

Occasionally, rail tours do run over the route. Past rail tours have seen LMS Black Fives, Stanier 8F's, Class 37's and a Deltic running over the line.

Good suggestion, but the problem is that this is a very very remote line, with only 5 services a DAY each way on the line on weekdays, 4 on Saturdays, and 2 on Sundays (taken from realtimetrains)
and as you say no freight bar the vary occasional divert

I have seen that someone is doing the northern end including Shrewsbury and Craven Arms (going up towards Crewe) but the rest would have very few scenarios that reflect real life.
