Mainly making this due to this weeks Screenshot Contest theme, but we currently have no official North American Heritage route for TS 20XX. Technically we have 4 routes ATM that could represent one, but they lack either equipment, missing parts of the route, or are set in the wrong era. -Promontory Summit (Golden Spike National Historical Park) -Clear Creek Narrow Gauge (Georgetown Loop Railroad) -Norfolk Southern N-Line (North Carolina Transport Museum) -CSX Hanover Subdivision (Gettysburg Railroad) Also a few have been suggested over the years as well... -Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tennessee-valley-railroad-museum.18258/ -Strasburg Railroad https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/strasburg-railroad.15478/ -East Broad Top https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/east-broad-top.4929/ -Cass Scenic Railroad https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/cass-scenic-railroad-mower-lumber-company.13122/ -Grand Canyon Railway https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/grand-canyon-railway.19592/ -Sierra Railroad (Railtown 1897) https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/route-proposal-sierra-railroad.19215/ -White Pass & Yukon https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/white-pass-yukon-route-suggestion.24472/ It would be nice to see either DTG or a 3rd Party developer bring at least one to the game officially (Or maybe G-Trax can revamp their old Durango & Silverton Route and bring it to steam)
Personally I'd adore the White Pass and Yukon and the Strasburg. I think some museums with yards and short train rides (namely the B&O Museum in Baltimore and Danbury Railway Museum in Connecticut) could be neat too if the DLC is around $5.
Maybe it would be more similar to how Smokebox released UP 119, which came with the short route Cheyenne 1869 for $25
All of these ideas would be great. I'd also like to suggest the Cumbres and Toltec, Western Pacific RR Museum, and Niles Canyon Railway. The Niles Canyon route could include SP #9010 (a restored Krauss-Maffei ML4000 diesel hydraulic) and a couple other locos. Also, I want the Nevada Northern RR. I rode the NNRR train a few years ago, and I really enjoyed it.
