Good morning, I recently purchased the DB BR 407 Velaro on steam and it is a beauty. All that's lacking now is a good route to drive her on. I only have Munich-Ausburg which I find too short for high speed runs. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cool German high speed route with a long stretch of LZB https://nox.tips/ operations, and if I'd need additional add-ons to further enhance said routes I've seen a couple of routes on Steam but I'm curious about your experiences. I can only state the obvious: it has scenarios for Frankfurt - Karlsruhe which is an extension for Mannheim - Karlsruhe. Those are 80 + 77 = 137 km long (that's interesting math but I didn't play them so can't resolve). While not as high speed, Hamburg-Hannover was one of the old staple routes for ICE running. What I did for München-Augsburg is to create a scenario back and forth. Could do more laps, although AI gets difficult and the ICE 1 was very prone for aggressive head shaking, so in the name of running under various weathers and seasons and times of day, I'd say that's enough. 50-55 minutes to do a round trip. A relatively recent route is Strasbourg - Karlsruhe, offering a selection of ICE 2 and 3 plus there is a scenario pack in case you feel like it. I have no idea how well it supports Lzb, however. Truth is, I like to drive myself.
