I’ve been advocating for Train Simulator to make a Capitol Corridor route, but because of TSW’s more realism and better graphics, I believe adding Amtrak Capitol Corridor would be the next best American route to incorporate into. What is Capitol Corridor?: Capitol Corridor is an Intercity passenger train system that provides a convenient alternative to traveling from the Bay Area to Sacramento. Making 18 stops in 8 counties, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Francisco, and Santa Clara, a 170-mile rail corridor. CC Locomotives: Capitol Corridor in the past 3 years have bought Siemens Charger Clean Diesel-Electric Locomotives Capitol Corridor still uses F59PHI Locomotives to operate majority of the route. F59PHI is used when traveling from Sacramento to San Jose in that exact direction. Sometimes Capitol Corridor uses P42PH when traveling to San Jose Just like Pacific Surfliner that is currently in TS2020, CC uses Cab Car to operate from San Jose to Sacramento in that exact direction. Stations: San Jose (Caltrain & ACE connection, soon to be BART connection), Santa Clara University (Santa Clara Caltrain connection), Santa Clara Great America (Levi Stadium connection), Fremont, Hayward, Oakland Coliseum (BART connection, BART’s Airport Shuttle connection & Oakland A’s game connection), Oakland Jack London Square, Emeryville (Bus connection to San Francisco), Berkeley, Richmond (connection to BART), Martinez, Suisun-Fairfield, Fairfield-Vacaville (Newly Added Station), Davis (connection to U.C. Davis), Sacramento (connection to Old Town Sac).
