Hello. I think that the Birmingham Cross City line from Bromsgrove/Redditch to Lichfield Trent Vally would make an excellent route for both commuter services using Class 323s as well as freight to Bescot Yard. Line details: Length: 31 miles (Redditch to Lichfield Trent Valley) Electrification: 25kV AC overhead (only on slow lines between Longbridge and King's Norton) Number of tracks: Mainly 2, with 4-track running between Longbridge and King's Norton and single track on the Redditch branch with a passing loop at Alvechurch) Main loco/unit classes: Class 323 EMU (local commuter) (Essential), Class 170 DMU (Birmingham-Worcester-Hereford services) Class 220/221 DEMU (Cross Country services)
