    Hi all,

Now that Manchester Piccadilly has been modelled in TSW (to a pretty high degree of accuracy too), it seems such a shame to me not to reuse it in another DLC route.

Manchester Piccadilly to Stafford via Stoke-on-Trent is an obvious and feasible candidate, it seems to me anyway!
It’s an approx 60 minute journey time and 54 miles, which is within what we know is achievable in TSW .

    Here’s my thoughts below…

    Services
Lots of options from local stopping trains, express passengers, freight, railtour, ECS moves to depots etc.

    Locos
Class 390 Pendolino - widely requested by TSW users and would be a great addition to the game. We also know DTG have a relationship with Avanti given they have a license for the Pendolino in TS Classic. Could this be developed to allow the Pendo to come to TSW?

Class 220 Voyager - an outside bet as would require a license from Cross Country. Would be a great addition to this route if it was possible though, with 2tph between Manchester and Stafford.

    Depots
    • Longsight TMD
    • Stockport Carriage Sidings
    • Longport

it would make manchester piccadilly look alot more busy with extra layers, especially if the class 390 was added. very cool suggestion

Sounds like a good one, but if I remember right from TSC, CrossCountry don't give out their license.

Excellent Idea overall and my question is will this route even work under the LAMP Process or not?
