Hello Dovetail and community! Today I come here to suggest R6/R60 from Barcelona Plaza España to Manresa with FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) which is a private company of the autonomous community. On this line they circule unities 213 from FGC.

The R6 / R60 lines of the Llobregat-Anoia line of the FGC connect Plaça Espanya in Barcelona and Igualada via Hospitalet de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Pallejà, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Castellbisbal, Martorell, Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Masquefa, Piera, Vallbona d'Anoia, Capellades, La Pobla de Claramunt and Vilanova del Camí. The line has its origins in the Ferrocarril Central Catalán put into service in 1892 as a narrow gauge line that connected Igualada with Martorell, where the broad gauge train was located, and in the Camino de Hierro del Nordeste de España, inaugurated on 1912 as a suburban line. In 1979 the network was integrated into Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya. In 1996 the services between Barcelona and Igualada were renamed R6, running as semi-direct between Barcelona and Martorell, as they only stopped in Barcelona, L'Hospitalet, Sant Boi, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Martorell Vila and Martorell. Link. Initially between 1996 and February 1999 there was an R60 line that did partial services between Martorell Enllaç and Igualada, as the complete R6 line only had one train every 2 hours and so the R60 connected with the trains of the R5 line, also running every 2 hours. In February 1999, with the electrification of the Martorell to Igualada branch and the new 213 series units, the R60 was eliminated and the R6 line became an hourly train that made the complete journey between Barcelona and Igualada, following a semi-direct line between Martorell and Barcelona and since then non-stop in Martorell Vila. From May 2002, Ildefons Cerdà and Almeda were added as stops on the R6 line. In February 2008, partial services of the R6 line between Martorell Central and Igualada were put into operation, which were part of the Metro Comarcal de l'Anoia project and allowed trains to be offered every 20 minutes to each of the branches at rush hour. At the same time, trains on the R6 line stopped at all stations except Colònia Güell, Santa Coloma de Cervelló and Martorell Vila. In July 2012, the services were restructured, with all the trains on the R6 line being rebuilt on the entire route between Barcelona and Igualada, without transfer to Martorell, and three semi-direct trains were created per direction on weekdays called R60 without a stop in Magória. , Molí Nou, Colònia Güell, Can Ros, Quatre Camins, Pallejà, El Palau, Martorell Vila, Martorell Enllaç, la Beguda and Can Parellada, with a saving of about 5 minutes of travel time.
The current R6 / R60 lines are 65.45 km long with a track width of 1,000 mm and 30 stations with a stop (21 R60 line stations), 11 of which are underground (between Pl. Espanya and Cornellà-Riera, Pallejà and Sant Andreu de la Barca). They have a double track in the section between Barcelona and Martorell Enllaç, with electrification at 1500 V dc. The trains currently covering line R6 are units 213 which take 1 hour and 32 minutes to complete the line; trains on the R60 line take 1 hour and 27 minutes. The R6 / R60 line starts at Barcelona Pl.Espanya station, usually along the nave of tracks 3 and 4, and runs along Gran Via towards Magòria-La Campana, Ildefons Cerdà and Europa | Fair, turning towards Gornal and taking the route from Avinguda Carrilet to Sant Josep. The route continues underground along L'Hospitalet-Av.Carrilet towards Cornellà de Llobregat below the Passeig dels Ferrocarrils Catalans via Almeda until it comes to the surface after Cornellà-Riera. Once in the open air, it passes under the Ronda Litoral (A-2), the tracks of the Madrid-Barcelona high-speed line and the Papiol freight branch to Can Tunis, later joining the general line. the FGC freight branch to the port of Barcelona. The route crosses the Llobregat river and reaches Sant Boi, continuing the line towards the Molí Nou-Ciutat Cooperativa station. The route continues along the Llobregat plain through Colònia Güell and Santa Coloma de Cervelló, without stopping, until it passes through the interior of the town of Sant Vicenç dels Horts and the Can Ros stop. Trains follow the Quatre Camins interchange and cross the town of Pallejà underground. The line continues along the surface to Sant Andreu de la Barca, which also passes underground. To the north of the town is the Palau stop and then a section along the Vallès Occidental, crossing the Llobregat river through the gorge to Martorell Vila | Castellbisbal, where there is no stop. The route crosses the broad gauge line from Barcelona to Vilafranca and Tarragona and crosses the Llobregat river again to enter the municipality of Martorell, first with the Martorell Central interchange and then the Martorell Enllaç station, a junction point. of the branches of Igualada and Manresa. The line continues along the Igualada branch towards Sant Esteve Sesrovires, La Beguda, Can Parellada and Masquefa. The line continues its winding route towards Piera, Vallbona d'Anoia, Capellades, La Pobla de Claramunt and Vilanova del Camí, before ending its journey in Igualada.
