Hello everyone, I'd like to present my suggestion for a route for Train Sim World 6: Railway Line No. 271 from Wrocław to Poznań. In my opinion, this line would be a possible Polish DLC and a good candidate for a route in the game. Introduction: The route connects two voivodeships – namely Lower Silesia and Greater Poland, connecting the capitals of both voivodeships – Wrocław (Lower Silesia) and Poznań (Greater Poland). The route could offer regional, freight, and intercity connections. Additionally, it would introduce new carriers: PKP Intercity, Polregio, Koleje Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesian Railways), Koleje Wielkopolskie (Greater Poland Railways), and PKP Cargo. Route length and time: The route stretches for 165 km, which could make it the second (or third) longest in the game. As for the time, the route would be placed in 2021. History: The line was built between 1853 and 1856 in the former Prussian Partition of Poland, as a single-track line – a second track was added in 1886. During the interwar period, the route served as a border route between Poland and Germany. After World War II, the route was entirely within Polish territory and became part of Line E59 – a three-stage electrification project was carried out in 1969-70. In 2008, co-financed by the European Union, the line was modernized, adapting it to high-speed express train traffic, modernizing platforms, etc. Interestingly, there is also a test track in Żmigród on this section of the route, where future or potential rolling stock for PKP is tested. Stations on the route: The stations on this route are divided into two voivodeships: Part of the line in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship: - Wrocław Główny; - Wrocław Mikołajów; - Wrocław Popowice; - Wrocław Różanka; - Wrocław Osobowice; - Wrocław Świniary; - Szewce; - Pęgów; - Oborniki Śląskie; - Osola; - Skokowa; - Żmigród; - Grabice; - Korzeńsko; (Provincial border) Part of the line in the Greater Poland Voivodeship: - Rawicz (both Greater Poland Railways and Lower Silesian Railways stop at this station); - Bojanowo; - Kaczkowo; - Rydzyna; - Leszno; - Lipno Nowe; - Górka Duchowna; - Stare Bojanowo; - Przysieka Stara; - Kościan; - Obrzyska Stare; - Czempiń; - Iłowiec; - Drużyna Poznańska; - Mosina; - Puszczykówko; - Puszczykowo; - Luboń; - Poznań Dębiec; - Poznań Główny; (Additional) Freight Stations: - Wrocław Poprovice - Port Poprovice; - Oborniki Śląskie - timber plants/sawmills; - Żmigród - materials storage/transshipment point; - Rawicz - freight siding; - Leszno - Leszno Towarowa station; - Czempiń - fuel/chemical plant sidings; - Mosina - logistics center/freight sidings; Rolling Stock: - Newag Griffin / EU160 - electric locomotive manufactured by Newag in Nowy Sącz, used for Intercity express trains between Wrocław and Poznań. - Stadler / Newag Flirt 3 / ED 160 - electric multiple unit manufactured by Stadler (also manufactured under license by Newag) used by PKP Intercity for express trains. - Newag Impuls / Newag 31WE - a four-car electric multiple unit from the "Impuls" family manufactured by Newag, used by Koleje Dolnośląskie on the Lower Silesian section of the route. - Pesa Elf II / Pesa 48WE - a five-car electric multiple unit, the second generation of "Elf" trains manufactured by Pesa. They are used by Koleje Wielkopolskie on the Wielkopolska section of the route. - EN57FPS - a modernized version of the EN57 EMU adapted to modern standards, used by Polregio on the entire route between Wrocław and Poznań. - ET22 / Pafawag 201E - an electric freight locomotive built in 1969 by Pafawag, used primarily for freight traffic. HCP Z1 and Z2 passenger coaches - carriages manufactured by the HCP plant in Poznań, built according to UIC-Z standards. PKP Intercity uses two types of wagons from this series: - HCP Z1 - the newest series of wagons manufactured according to the UIC-Z standard (more precisely, the UIC-Z1 standard), produced by HCP between 1997 and 2015, capable of traveling at a speed of 200 km/h. Examples of wagons from this series that could be used here include the non-compartment HCP 152A, 158A (1st class), or the compartment Z1B and 145Ac. - HCP Z2 - the oldest series of wagons manufactured according to the UIC-Z standard (UIC-Z2), produced by HCP between 1988 and 1996, capable of traveling at a speed of 160 km/h (for this reason, some trains are limited to 160 km/h). Examples of wagons from this series include the compartment HCP 144A. Freight wagons - to demonstrate the diversity of freight wagons for freight trains, I suggest using wagons such as: - Eaos 408W coal wagon - one of the most recognizable Polish coal wagons, used to transport coal, other types of aggregate, ore, and (sometimes) timber; - Fals self-unloading coal wagon - one of the recognizable coal wagons used in Poland by PKP Cargo; - Facc self-unloading coal wagon - a smaller coal wagon with a specific body shape used in Poland; - Hbikks covered wagons - German covered wagons used (and manufactured under license) in Poland; - Sgs platform wagon - a railway platform used to transport containers and other goods; - Zas 406R tanker - a Polish tanker used to transport liquid fuels and gases (in the variant with a pressure tank); Connections on the route: PKP Intercity (Wrocław-Poznań): - IC "Odra" - 1:55 hrs; - IC "Wielkopolanin" - 2:05 h; - IC "Silesia" - 2:10 hr; - IC "Piast" - 2:00 hr; Polregio: - REGIO Wrocław Główny - Poznań Główny - 3:00–3:10 h; - REGIO Wrocław Główny - Leszno - 1:55 h; - REGIO Leszno – Poznań Główny - 1:10–1:15 hrs; Lower Silesian Railways: - KD Wrocław Główny - Rawicz - 1:30 hrs; - KD Wrocław Główny - Leszno - 1:40 hrs; Greater Poland Railways: - Poznań Główny – Leszno - 1:15 hrs; - Poznań Główny – Kościan - 0:40 hrs; PKP Cargo: - Freight Wrocław Główny – Oborniki Śląskie - 0:55 AM–1:05 hrs; - Freight Wrocław Główny – Żmigród - 1:10 h; - Freight Wrocław Główny – Rawicz - 1:30 h; - Freight Wrocław Główny – Leszno - 1:45 h; - Freight Poznań Główny – Mosina - 0:35 AM–0:45 hrs; - Freight Poznań Główny – Czempiń - 0:55 h; - Freight Poznań Główny – Kościan - - Freight Poznań Główny – Leszno - 1:20 AM–1:30 hrs; - Freight Rawicz – Leszno - 1:35 h; - Freight Leszno – Kościan - 1:30 h; - Freight Kościan – Czempiń - 0:25 h; Other: Besides the "Core Features", like train faults, platform annoucements, the route could offer a few other things: - A test track in Żmigród, instead of a Training Center - some people will undoubtedly consider this idea absurdly stupid, but there is a test track 5 km from Żmigród station, where units can be tested. Therefore, I thought that, following the example of the Train Sim World 2 series, training modules for traina, locomotivea, and veligelence systems could take place there. This would also add color to the local scenery or potentially plan for a rolling stock test scenario. - Driver Veligelance Systems - Like most countries, Poland has its own driver veligelance systems, these being the Active Deadmen's Switch (CA) and the Automatic Train Braking (SHP). Additionally, some trains also use the ETCS system, which this route was equipped with after modernization. Unfortunately, alert systems are activating with an cab activation, so to avoid the LIRR Commuter situation, you can use a special tab in the settings to disable them, just like in SimRail or MaSzyna. - Collectibles - You can also place several collectibles along the route, for example: placing route maps, collecting figurines of two billy goats (a reference to Poznań, where the billy goats in the town hall "butt heads" at noon), or dwarf figurines (a reference to Wrocław, where such bronze figurines are located). Scenery: The scenery will be rich in landscapes: urban, rural and forested lowlands of Lower Silesia and Greater Poland, passing by industrial buildings, pastures, arable fields and forest clearings, showing the charms of those regions. So, this is my idea for a route for Train Sim World 6.

Oh... I also forget about layers. So, if you have Niddertalbahn, Maintalbahn DLC's, you'll be able to see the DB BR 628, DB BR 642 "Desiro," at Wrocław Główny station as AI layers. Additionally, as playable laysers, you'll be able to operate freight trains using a Vectron locomotive in DB red livery. As for wagons from other add-ons, Habbis wagons may be added.
