Excellent idea and if you are wondering for me this for train simulator 21 that's Rivet Games Gotthard Bahn Erstfeld Bellinzona. One thing for sure if Rivet games does make your suggestion for DTG it's going to end up like Arosa Line.
This would be one of the most scenic routes not counting the longest one yet I think, a full service from Chiasso to Lucerne via Tunnel its about 2 hrs with many fast blocks and many technical braking and accelerating blocks
