I'm considering getting a new route for the game, but I'm torn on which one to get. I've seen great things about Nahverkehr Dresden, and Horseshoe Curve. I've heard Horseshoe Curve is set for long freight trains with tough curves and grades, 192.168.1.254 which sounds appealing to me as I cant get that normally with Sand Patch Grade. Howe ver, I really want an experience similar to Köln-Aachen as I like the German routes, but it seems with much more. Which one is better, or is there a different line that you think is better than these two? Plus, will I need to pay for other locos to unlock full potential with these lines?
Horseshoe Curve is the only route I haven’t bought yet. The rest are all good apart from Rivet designs especially WCL. I enjoy the German Routes but the last one from Dresden is really good.
Munich to Augsburg is probably closest in style to Koln to Aachen, in that you get a choice of ICE or red electric karts to drive. It’s not a very long run though.
