I was musing which routes DTG could build for the various but still small amount of BR "classic" period stock set in the 1970's or 1980's, after the, in my opinion disappointing fudge of the GWML 1970's "Icons" pack.

    Westbury to Weymouth

I have seen photo's of Bristol based DMU's on there, so that is the class 101 sorted, class 33's would certainly have been seen and class 47's, I have seen photo's of class 52's on freight trains at Westbury

North Wales Coast - maybe Chester to Holyhead

The class 101 would be at home here as Chester depot had several although really many were power trailer sets of which one doesn't exists, class 31, 40, 45 and 47 would all be useful for freight, passenger and parcels trains

    A route based around Norwich

The Wherry Lines would be suitable going to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft maybe with the Sheringham branch and possible the line to Ely. Class 101's were the dominant unit in the area particularly after the Cravens had been withdrawn and the class 31 would be common

    Salisbury to Exeter

Set in the early 90's, NSE class 47's and mark 2's with the class 101 providing local services from the Exeter end.

These routes would seem intresting if they were made. Although if they did make the North Wales Coast line, it would probably be a modern route since they made it in ts2021 and a route that I own and love. You never know though

True, although that is a route where an older scenario pack would work as they route hasn't changed hugely, well not since they diverted the A55 in 1987. I run my older stock on the TS1 version.

So they could be onto a winner, a nice scenic route to run both modern stock and a stock pack for us fans of older trains.
