Sorry to have asked this question, but Having seen a driven the bakerloo like on TSW5 how many other underground routes does TSW5 have?
Only the Bakerloo for now. In the upcoming Great Western Express remaster, there is a short stint where you can drive a Class 484 (from Isle of Wight 2022), which has been reskinned to replicate Hammersmith & City and Circle Line services between Paddington and Westbourne Park, with one stop at Royal Oak. Overground lines, we have the Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside (Suffragette Line) and the upcoming (although not full length) Mildmay Line from Stratford to Willesden Junction.
The OP asked about underground routes. The DC lines are overground some of which form part of the Bakerloo line.
Long Island Railroad has some very, very brief underground sections mostly just New York Penn but I think Atlantic City is also underground. Can't quite remember as it's been ages since i played the route.
AHH ok I'm not really interested in them routes I'm more UK routes, someone tells me dovetails or just trains are meant to be fixing or updating London Paddington to reading route? Now I was just driving the train to west Ealing but the route said from Paddington to Greenford? Greenford, Oxford ect isn't even on the given routed map. Everyone has there own opinions but they should sort those route names out. If we're not allowed to go greenford Oxford ect why put that down on the route? It's like with Blackpool route your not allowed all the way to Manchester Piccadilly(which I've got that line) but why should we have to fork out more and more money on add-ons when they should at least require a license to stretch these lines further to make it more interesting for us players, in freeroam let us go through barriers just like in real world. On bakerloo line let us go up the stairs maybe to a different line, extend the AI services so us players don't exceed outside the routes!! Not alot of people may not have alot of money to keep buying add ons
The route descriptions are usually quite clear about what extent you’re getting. Of course you will see trains going to off route destinations, why wouldn’t you? Applying your logic, DTG or associates should just keep building… I am no TSW fanboy but there are fixed limits to what can be done in the time and manpower available to build a route. Yes it would be nice if GWE ran to Oxford and included the Thames Valley branches, and has been requested in the Suggestions forum several times. But the current route is what it is.
Kassel - Würzburg Kind of a high-speed Bakerloo. 47% of the route extension (~87km) in tunnels. Aaaahh, just kidding ...
