Londonmidland's skybox mod only works with routes that have the TSW2 base skybox, not the old TSW2020 one. Adam's folks have upgraded many, but not all, the Preserved Collection skies to TSW2 standard; RRO is not one of them (nor NTP, TVL etc- RRO isn't the only one).
So have the new skyboxes been incorporated into the offical game yet? Looking on the roadmap, "in production", it mentions bringing them to preserved collection, so does that mean it's already out for TSW2 routes? The route intro for Sherman Hill looked like it had new skies, but then the actual services it seems back to the old ones. Series X fwiw.
No, not yet. LM's skies for right now are only available as a PC mod, and only work with TSW2 or upgraded PrCo routes.
Good thing is, they are clearly working on it, as in one of the recent streams they mentioned the challenges they had with it. Also they called them generation 1 and generation 2 skybox, instead of simply old and new. So supposedly Londonmidland's version will be generation 3.
