Why is it on the bakerloo line you can run on time and lose and lot points the further into your journey and the brakes seem off to like min does not do anything but normal is really quick any suggestions would appreciated thanks
It’s virtually impossible to lose points in TSW for late running, unlike TSC Career scenarios. I have done runs on Bakerloo, ended up at the destination well over five minutes late and still got over 15k AP. Which then distorts your “favourite” train and route record. As regards the timetable itself, when computer generated as opposed to hand compiled it does tend to work on the basis of the driver achieving 100% efficiency with starting and braking, which is why you will end up running late. Unless you are a top link driver and can ace each and every station stop. And really there is little overall purpose to AP or “levels” in TSW. You will still get a tick against the run/scenario/journey element if you finish it - even half an hour late.
Bakerloo is definitely a route where you have to drive with a similar skill to a real driver to be on time in terms of being spot on with acceleration and braking. It's a good route for appreciating some of what the driver training must involve.
You can even get Platinum when skipping a station stop. Useless. That whole scoring system is mainly aimed at customers who need an incentive to play the game. There's a thread on the Steam forums, someone saying they're out of things to do in TSW because it has too few Achievements...
Being a frequent user of the London underground, it feels like the only positions the drivers have the power handle in are max power or max brake! Most stations you need to approach at full speed and brake as you reach the platform. Open the doors and close them almost instantly then set off again in full power. You will need to apply the brakes a little early at some stations as the adhesion isn't all that good.
