Xbox Series X Rush Hour Dlc Not Synching Over To Pc [resolved]

Hi all, just installed TSW2 on my PC for the first time.

For reference I bought the game on sale with the "Rush Hour Season Ticket" addon. It appears and works just fine on my Xbox, but doesn't appear on my PC. When I go to the in-game store to download it, I am met with this error: PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent

The mod I want to install also doesn't appear in the Xbox store (at least on PC).
Any help would be much appreciated!

 

The season ticket was only sold for a brief period and as a DLC it only enables access to the 3 Rush Hour route DLCs and isn't a DLC you install. Confirm you have access to the 3 Rush Hour route DLC (Boston Sprinter, London Commuter, and Nahverkehr Dresden) and you have the full season ticket.

 

In TSW2, DLC from Rush Hour onwards isn’t installable on PC (at least for me) if you bought it on XBOX Store. Only the earlier DLC. It wasn’t true play anywhere.

If you want to see all of your DLC you need TSW3 or later.

In the Xbox store, I have access to all 3 of the Rush Hour DLCs, as well as the "Season Ticket" (https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/train-sim-world-2-rush-hour-season-ticket/9p4vc3h7l4kd). I bought it a while ago for a large discount (perhaps just before TSW3 was released). However I am unable to purchase these on the TSW2 ingame store, as I am met with an Xbox error (the one you see above).

 

If I understand what you're saying correctly, if I want to play London Commuter, Boston Sprinter etc, I need to download/buy TSW3?

 

Did you buy it on XBOX or on PC? If you bought it on PC, you should have access to all the DLC so I would raise a ticket to Dovetail. If you bought it on XBOX and are now installing on PC then the following is valid.

On PC If you get TSW3 (or 4) on the XBOX Store you should be able to then play the Rush Hour DLCs. But on TSW 2 not all of the DLCs were playable on both XBOX and PC.

I bought the TSW2 and the Rush Hour Season Pass myself on XBOX and whilst I could install TSW2 (and the three routes that came with it) on my PC, it would never download any DLC from Rush Hour onward. When I got TSW3, I could install it on both XBOX and PC and all of my DLC was available (and still is on TSW4). But you need to make sure you get the later version from the XBOX Store as well otherwise it won't work (i.e. don't buy it on Steam or Epic as the DLC will not transfer).

If you search through the forum from around the time Rush hour came out, there were a few people reported the same issue.
