Having seen what can be done with the Rush Hour routes so far, I really do think that having similarly dense timetables for other routes should be the #1 priority for DTG. It makes such a difference - the route feels so much more alive, it's something you want to explore, and really brings the "on foot" aspect of the game - which is one of its USPs - out of its shell.

With the UK routes this is arguably more complicated, as new rolling stock will be needed, but in Germany, the potential is there. There's so much room for varied IC, ICE, regional, S-Bahn and freight services on alll the routes, with a multitude of AI trains and driver service that could be added to enhance the routes so much. The idea of a full set of IC and ICE services on HSR, RRO and HMA in particular is really exciting.

Equally a major consideration for new addons should whether a) they can use trains from existing addons people might have, and b) whether their rolling stock can enhance existing addons. We see the benefit of this in all the German routes, and it's heartening to see Southeastern trains in the Victoria screenshots. A route with a Voyager, for example, could add flavour to Cathcart, Great Western, London to Brighton. It is more complex in the UK (certainly if rendering the modern period) but well worth it. There is a lot of potential for livery variations too - I know we have the livery editor, but we don't all have the skills, and these don't affect the timetable, where they are needed the most. Even if it may be a while before we see another Scotrail EMU, the propect of seeing a Carmine & Cream 314 every so often would make Cathcart so much more appealing. Similarly, variations to the 37, 47, 375 among others would seem to represent quick wins.

I know that DTG has a huge wishlist, let alone the roadmap, but I would suggest that this sort of work is prioritised where possible - we know from the "excellent timetable services" thread, this is what people really enjoy.
